I wonder if it’s really true that he’s B more than average in short yard situations.

What a joke

Strongest RB draft in years and we’re gonna resign 2 vets.
:laugh::laugh::laugh:
Resigning the two vets won't bother me as much as not drafting an RB. Zeke and Pollard were a good one-two punch for most of the season, but Elliott faded late and Pollard is coming off injury. If the Cowboys want to go the route of renegotiating with Elliott and tagging Pollard, they've got to prepare for one or even both of them to possibly not be good to go next year.

Hmmmm YOUR RIGHT!!!

and since the game is the exact same as 3 and 4 decades ago, we should do the same. That would be awesome (or "bytchen, as they said back when Emmit was drafted)

Better yet, let's draft a FullBack in Rd1. That was considered "groovey" in the 50's.

Zeke can't get you down the field, so he can score a 1 yard TD. Zeke is Tony Pollard dependent. Jerry is stuck in 2016 just like a few stubborn dude on CZ. There's at least 15 RBs that can give the Cowboys more production than Zeke in their rookie season.

Yes. they do........

Because cutting Zeke would, once again, vividly illustrate the Jones's incompetence when it comes to accurately assessing a player's value to winning championships.

If you look at it from a cap stand point, keeping Zeke is not the worst thing in the world if he takes a significant pay cut down to approximately $6 million.

That is because releasing Zeke counts $6 million on the cap in dead money, so if you can get Zeke to take a pay cut down to $6 million, its like having Zeke for "free" this year.

Zeke is still a very good short yardage RB, he is also one of the best pass blocking RBs in the entire league, always has been and still is today. So you are getting some production and value for that $6 million that you are spending, whereas if you just release Zeke you are still spending $6 million but have nothing to show for it.
