That was very bad. I am really disappointed to see that. I know Jerry isn't a saint but you sure hate to see that when you know by tomorrow, it's going to be on every message board in the Country. That's not good for the team.
It will be all over ESPN.

You folks really can't believe jerry and bill are friends?

you condemn him for being honest when he is drunk, yet he said something about a friend when he was drunk.

The only way you see what he said as a negative is if you believe jerry and bill aren't friends.

I have always thought they were friends, I think they understood each other.

Boys and girls now we all know why Dallas suffered so much back in the late 90's and early 2000's....

So it had nothing to do with injured players retiring causing cap accelerations, dead cap space, and rebuilding the team after the Triplets?

Good to know.

47 seconds of video will hold the football world hostage for tens of thousands of internet hours over the next few days.

If Jerry is fined dollar one for this from Goodell while Ruthlessraper gets nothing, I'll take a **** in a box and Fed-Ex it to NFL headquarters.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the difference is that in the past those amateur videos could be traced as to who took them or at least owned them, and the station got permission to use them. This is pretty new territory where you pull a vid off the internet having absolutely no clue who took it or where it came from. It's a little dicey now with the way vids can be edited so well by almost anyone. I mean, if that vid had been a little more blurry and the audio a little less clear, you couldn't even be 100% positive it was really Jerry.

It was just a commentary on the line news outlets are having to walk these days. I wasn't even commenting on the nature of what Jerry said.

I agree that news agencies have to be more careful than ever before in ensuring what they're airing is real. There's been many a time where journalists have been caught with their pants down, reporting something an internet prankster fibbed.

But other than that, or the possible disclaimer about "it's not yet been verified that this is Jerry," I think this kind of thing is absolutely newsworthy. Also, the fact the Cowboys gave a no comment to the video kind of legitimizes its validity.

Its a little daunting popping into the zone to see a fresh 600 post thread. Is there any good stuff in the middle worth diving into? How many different turns did the comversation take? Did it soehow get political?

The Cliff's notes version: Jerry likes alcohol. Jerry likes to bash coaches when consuming alcohol. And when provoked - and, even when not - Jerry likes to act like a bumbling fool.

Wow, I didnt realize we had this many Puritians on this board.

So Jerry got wasted and said Romo was a miracle, Tebow would not see the field, and that Tuna was hired to silence the critics and help get a stadium approved.

Everything he said was true and most of us fans already knew all of this, so where exactly is the controversy???

Its not like Jerry was raping women in the bathroom, cough**Big Ben**cough.

Yeah, his comments about Tebow are nothing to get excited about. It's odd how interested the camera guy is in trying to get him to talk about Tebow. Jerry's sentence of "He wouldn't get on the field here" can clearly have the parentheticals (because we have one of the league's best quarterbacks) added to the end.

However, it is pretty appalling for him to say what he said about Parcells. I realize he didn't know he was being filmed, but still. It's also disturbing in a sense that I think it clearly shows that Jerry is just fine with his yes men coaching the team, but knew he had to make the one exception to get the stadium. That's discouraging.

The obvious bright side: No one currently on the team was bashed. I'm glad the phrase, "Roy Williams isn't worth a blank" wasn't uttered. :lmao2:

now THAT wouldve been news....lol

nothing here we ALL didnt already know......only thing i find disturbing is how bad this guys camera phone sucks.....

Jerry got caught in a very vulnerable state....he shouldnt have put himself in that situation..im sure he dislikes it more than anyone here.......glad i dont have a camera following me around

I don't think a fine is warranted. Has a player ever been fined for uttering a non offensive curse word into a hidden camera? Jerry didn't crack on hillbillies, blacks and Jews. He simply mocked Parcells. Rex Ryan was never fined for his verbal jabs, for instance.

I still think the video is embarrassing, but a fine would be unwarranted.

Finally got a chance to watch this. Embarrassing, but not important. Not that the Dallas media won't try to run with it. In a few days, it'll all be forgotten and replaced by the draft.

I'm just glad there wasn't a camera on me the time I got drunk and accidentally urinated on my friend's wife. That's more embarrassing than admitting Parcels didn't accomplish anything in a private conversation, or acknowledging that Tim Tebow couldn't supplant Tony Romo.

^^^ :lmao: haha, the people on this board who have been drunk in their life should think about all the silly stuff they did, whether saying something or doing something outrageous. Instead of worrying about a billionaire owner of the Dallas Cowboys, when most of the board feels the same way he does about most of the things he said. I hate that just b/c Jerry Jones is the owner of the most high profile professional sports team that he gets put on a higher pedestal & that all of us can go on and act a fool from time to time, but he can't slip up and have a night where he gets hammered and says some things he shouldn't have said.. Then he has a forum of Cowboys fans bashing the hell out of him like this is something new. This is the same Jerry who has been with the Cowboys since day 1 and nothing is going to change him, Sorry folks.. Live with it or whine like a little girl, your choice

Even if ts true doesnt mean it should be said.

Dan Snyder is a midget chode
Taylor Swift could get it
Marijuana can be a great thing

All true statements, wouldnt be great for him to announce to Cody and Blake from the bar. 2 kids w/ fo-hawks and think rimmed glasses who Jerry assumes hasnt heard of cell phone cameras
