What about when the mic his hit hair piece.

Or the time he took the drunken pic with the two chicks.

And the time he drafted Quincy Carter.

:laugh1:

Or the way he fired Tom Landry. Pacman, owens, Switzer the list could go all day. The guys a buffoon. Yet so many here claim he's the best owner/GM ever.

you got it, hiring a coach to build the next Mecca of sports entertainment? The next coliseum.

His ability as a businessman is unquestioned. He might be one of the few people in this world that took advantage of bill parcells.

Yeah, that's really what happened. Had nothing to do with the coach actually turning around one of the most precipitous downward spirals in the history of sport. It was all just a genius marketing scheme.

It was not an interview--it was some sleezeball recording a conversation at ta bar. Should jerry keep his mouth shut? maybe. I don't really disagree with what he said (it's his honest opinion) but he certainly embarrassed himself and the Cowboys. he should suspend himself for 2 games.

Yes, Jerry Jones thinks Bill Parcells' time here was worth nothing but the ability to market a new stadium. Now we know it's true.

Jones calling Romo a miracle is right, because he himself almost ran Romo out of the building with experiments like Chad Hutchinson and Drew Henson. Without Payton and Parcells, Tony Romo would probably be a Bronco and Jones wouldn't have known a thing about him. Parcells made sure Romo stayed on the roster because he knew what he had.

This video shows exactly the kind of delusional person Jerry Jones is.

On an unrelated note, for those of you who wondered about Jerry's hair, there is a video on Youtube that should remove any doubt about his hair. A boom microphone brushes against the left side of his head and Jerry's hair moves on the top of his head. Looks like he can take it off at night and put it on the nighstand.

He was obviously joking around. What is sad is that he can't do that without it being broadcast all over the net.

I really dont think he was joking around, his answers were pretty candid to me. Admitting Romo was a miracle, sounds pretty true to me. Doesnt seem to unlikely that the stadium had something to do with him bringing in Parcells either. As for Tebow, all he really said was he couldnt get him out there. That could be taken as a slam on Tebow but sounded to me more like a vote of confidence for Romo.

Is there any way you could get channel 8... Hansen is going to have an absolute field day with this. ;)

Haven't seen if this was answered yet, but I watched channel 8 news last night, and expected Dale to have a field day with this. He didn't. Hansen did NOT want to run the story, or at least he said he did not. Before showing the video, he ranted about the person that took the video, then trying to make money off it, he talked about how journalism has gone downhill because of stories like that, and even went off on the producers of his station for opting to run the story, when he didn't think it was appropriate to do so. The producers argument was that it's already out there, has been reported therefore they should report it also.

Jerry will apoligize to anyone offended and enter re-hab soon, ala Tiger Woods.

Yeah, he's on The Ticket right now. He was really P.O.'ed at his news director for airing it. He felt like it crossed over journalism and went into the realm of TMZ gossip.

He should be sympathetic, because he's been known to kick back 1 (or 5 or 6) too many at Dallas bars. He's another guy who should thank the Creator that camera phones weren't around in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Like it or not, that's now the age we live in. And if Hansen's channel decides not to run it, then every sports fan will switch over to a channel that is.

The thing is I don't know who in the local media will have the cahonies to write about this.

It was off the record stuff and I could see nobody locally touching this.

Seriously?

Little ball of stupid JFE is drooling right now.

She is probably having trouble writing because her hand is shaking in excitement.

McMahon already has. So did Gerry Fraley.

Eventually they all will.

Jerry could easily blackball someone for something like this and ruin their career.

I don't think it would be worth it in the long run to take jabs at Jerry over this.
