The Jets interior oline is better than what the Giants put out there but their tackles are not. Andrew Thomas was second team All Pro and we embarrassed him. If they try to pass without establishing the run first Micah and company are going to feast. Tomlinson, AVT, and to a much lesser extent McGovern are where the Jets oline talent resides. Hankins, Osa, Mazi, Golston, and Gallimore need to continue to play well. If they do, we will dominate the LOS.

Wilson is a talented young receiver but Diggs, Gallimore, Bland, and the S crew have the ability and experience to handle that corps.

The Cowboys on offense is where the matchups are more evenly matched. I just want to reiterate that as talented as Williams and co are up front, they are not as talented as Lawrence, Williams, and co. Similarly Mosely is excellent, the Jets LB as a group are not as talented as Ojulari, McFadden, and Simmons.

If Smith returns we should be able to get consistent push in the run game. If he doesn't, I think we will hold our own up front like we did against the Giants front. Our blocking on the perimeter was excellent between the tackles and TE.

The Jets and Giants have a talented S and then not so much. The real difference between the to squads is the Jets corner talent particularly in Gardner. The Bills WR were able to get some completions against him and our WR are better but I couldn't count on a repeat. Winning in the middle of the field is going to be key. We are going to need to continue to do a good job of playing find the scrub to take advantage of matchups and most importantly our TE simply have to play better in the passing game.

Ferguson and Hendershot showed that they could get open. They did not show they could catch the ball. League leading drops are on them. The rain and plastic gloves were contributing factors but they simply need to concentrate better and I hope they are spending extra time on the jugs machine to get ready.

Overall the Jets are coming off an emotional overtime win where they went from top to bottom 10 in QB talent. We will be at home with all the momentum in the world.

you are way underrating the jets offense and that Interior OL with their ability to run the football, want to stick with and run the football to keep the low-risk clock eating score lowering philosophy that the NYG did not have the patience for?
ohh by the way their defense is just as suffocating and as big time as ours....

you mentioned S.Gardner but the other dude had three interceptions. Ol . and that's against the quarterback most here have in the top five... the cowboys better find a stronger run game and the ability to run more or they will force the ball into the air and make you pay.

The Jets are going to try to run the ball and keep the 3rd down short distances. They will try to rely on their defense to get some turnovers and keep them in the game to win it. This is a really good test for the Dallas offense. If Dallas does not have multiple turnovers there is no way they lose to Zach Wilson. Play sloppy offense and turn the ball over and the Jets will have a chance to win.

I said that the interior oline was where the talent was and that our DT needed to continue to play well. I said there only shot was to run the ball and that was the key.

And I also said that the biggest difference between what the Giants have on defense is the corner talent. At the same time their front 7 is not.

We will see if they are as good as we are on defense. I don't think so but you are entitled to your opinion.

Dallas is NOT trading Rush to the Jets.....This is going to be a tough game, The Jason Garrett type road offense will be on display Sunday by the Jets, The Cowboys rush defense is going to be tested early and often, the Jets are going to run the ball all game to control the clock and keep the score low...The first giants drive rushing attack was worrisome last week, so the Dallas defense better be committed to stopping the run and prepare for the 5 yard outs, curl routes and swing passes...Dak and the offense needs to put this Jets team away early and not allow them to hang around giving them hope keeping within their game plan...

I am pretty sure the Jets will come out running the football. If the Cowboys make this a close game anything can happen. The Cowboys defense is best when the opposing offense is throwing the football. The Jets will be feisty and determined, especially on defense.

They can't let the Jets get their running game going. Of course like always they need to get the Jets is some 3rd and long situations. But Garrett Wilson is an all-world WR. It will be interesting to see who covers him. I think it will be Diggs.

You think we are going to run a bunch of curls, 7 step drops, and middle isoes into the strength of their defense like Garrett and his scion did?

Not buying it. I think we will continue to use the WCO ideas of getting the ball out quickly and using the perimeter passing game with sprints and such to supplement the run game.

It's not an opinion they've been playing for two straight years now with the defense have been getting better and better just like ours.. It's literally been on full display... Again some of you were acting like the giants fans were before they played us.. You're underrating their team and overrating ours.

You're entitled to your opinion but I'm gonna tell you this just because Aaron Rodgers went down doesn't change this game as far as the rest of their game goes.. They do things that runs right into our weakness which is run the football they're patient they play special teams and have very good coaches.. Those types of teams have given our defense problems.. They're not gonna stand back there like the giants did and put Zach Wilson in a position where he could have a bad game like that.. They might run the ball 30 times on us is our team ready for that? I can tell you going by last year they were not and I can tell you by going by the first quarter against the giants they were not..

X being better or equal to Y is not an opinion when you are using actual quantities. When you are using terms like better or equal then it is an opinion.

If the Cowboys make the Jets start every drive on their side of the field, they likely won’t make it beyond the Cowboys’ forty more than twice—in my opinion.

Sure, they can run the ball if they want. They might even run it well. But there’s no correlation between running well and winning.

Games aren’t decided by who runs the ball better in modern football. In fact, if you run for 150+ yards but your QB has a QBR below 60 you are more likely to lose by 2+ scores than to win the game by any amount.

The Jets only path to victory is hoping the opposing team’s passing game is very poor and gives them multiple turnovers. They can run the ball and play defense all they want, the data shows they’ll almost always lose if the opposing QB outperforms Zach Wilson.
