No, I said the Skins have been as good or better. I posted records early in the thread, I know the #s. In defining as good as you focus on the head to head - I define it as being able to eliminate SOMEONE in January.

Again, point being -- and the point I came in on -- everyone assumes whatever he does turns to crap - he's gotten some value out of FA and he's had some serious busts -- just like us.

As I stated earlier, you're defending what 30 year fans here are disgusted with, i.e., the whimsical way Snyder has run this franchise. And I will gladly allow you to believe that those fans, Commanders former players, the local DC media are all off their rocker when stating this on the news at bars here in DC, on the radio, to my face and on local Commanders talk shows.

I was referring to winning a playoff game -- you know -- those games where it is win or go home.

I know it has been 11 years but you do recall that playoff wins are possible right? It isn't just show up and then have the next week off.

Danny hasn't got a prayer of January next year at the rate he's going. We do. I believe we'll equal his 2 wins in one season.

The only thing I said was he has not been better, or won more.

There is a huge difference between "Snyder is an idiot and everything he does is stupid" and my point which was he's been moderately successful.

That has nothing to do with my point -- the issue was performance since Snyder came into the league. And the facts remain, us and the Skins are pretty equal since that time.

I never said it had anything to do with your point, as a matter of fact I acknowledged that this was not your point.

My point is this. Taken in their entirety Jerry is clearly a better owner to date.

If we look at the past, I like what Jerry has accomplished...the Three Ring part mostly.

If we look at the present Dallas has a much better team.

You are using overall record to even the playing field since Snyder came into the league. I get that...no arguing the point.

Look at the last five years and see what Jerry has put us in a position to do. Our record is clearly better and we are clearly in a better position for the future.

You can not tell me you would trade our future for that of the Skins. If you agree with me on this point, you will also admit that the rebuilding began five years ago. For the past five years Jerry has built a Super Bowl contending team. Daniel Snyder not so much. That shows me Jerry has done a much better job the last five years than Danny has.

Well Mansta54, I will vouch for abersonc and his Cowboy devotion. I know he is a diehard Cowboy fan.

To his credit he would have been a great Navy officer because he would have went down with his ship. That is a compliment and not swipe at you abersonc...I mean that. He will stick to his beliefs/beliefs no matter how popular or unpopular.

Is this a contended? We think so, but obviously we can't tell the future. If you doubt that at ALL look to the first round picks we acquired from the Bills and Browns over the last few years -- if that doesn't clearly show that you can't tell what will happen from season to season then I don't know what will.
