What does the coach have to do with it? He has Wade Wilson and Jason Garrett. Or do you want a coach that's going to put fear into Romo's head to where he's scared to throw the ball?

it has alot more than you obviously think. A real coach would push Romo, get on his case, and drill it in that every play is that "one" great play needed to win.
Wade, with his laid back style, teaches Romo to just go with the flow and "to get it next time" when he makes a mistake. It has been going on for awhile, but especially with Wade as coach, where you see no heart, just going through the motions and expecting themselves to win without any real urgency.

I am personally going cold with Garrett. He just does not have the experience IMO. I think he should be backing up a real OC for now. If we get rid of Wade, and get a real coach, I am one to think a real coach should bring in their own staff so it would all take care of itself.

True...he did get it right.

I like Romo and think we can win the Super Bowl with him...he's got that kind of talent...but he has got to knock it off with the turnovers...or we won't.

Not me .... I think Garrett is just waiting for Wade to get out of the way ..... it would do him or the team no good to start a power struggle.

If Garrett was in charge I think it would be different.

My biggest problem is the current coaching staff AROUND Tony. He's got all the tools to be a great QB. He's shown flashes of brilliance. It's the coaching that is holding him back and ****ing up his development.

I Bring up Troy with David Shula vs. Troy with Norv. Never seem to get a response.

This Romo talk has went far beyond silly at this point. It's borderline insane. I cannot believe people even consider benching a guy one week after he had a career game.

Let me pose this to you; For arguements sake, let's say that the ball that hit Witten's shoe and bounces directly at the defenders open arm does hit the ground like it should have (I think we can all agree it was a fluke bounce on a pass that was behind Witten). Also, lets say that instead of Romo running the ball for a TD (something everyone on the world has forgotten about except the official stat line) he throws the ball in. We probably win and Romo ends up with 2 TD passes and 2 interceptions. Is this still the worst game by a QB in the history of the Dallas Cowboys organization like people are treating it now? Two very minor changes. No fluke bounce and a pass play instead of a QB keeper. Does it really change the game that much. What if that was his line (2td, 2int) and we actually won. Would anyone say a word about Romo having a bad performance.

Point is this, there is a really fine line between the worst game ever and just another game. (and don't start all the "pigs could fly bs")

That works in the reverse as well .... how many positive threads have been invaded by the negative guys the last few days?

Can we hire Jimmy as a consultant? He and Jerry are friends again. I know. I know. Can't pry him from the Florida Keys and his cushy broadcasting gig. But his expertise could put us over the top.

If Wade needs a consultant he should ask for it. We already tried that route anyway. Jerry managed to piss off one of the better minds in all of football already. Don't insult Wade. Fire him if you must but enough humiliation.
