What a ridiculously uninformed stance.
There is absolutely nothing "vague" about a fact.

To the press?Monster Heel;3278081 said:Not one of those articles states that the were going to pull their starters, unless of course you've invented a new English language. There's a lot of maybe and what-if. I told you find to me a statement from the Colts in which they concretely stated we're going to pull our starters. You can't because they never made such a proclamation. For someone who likes to use the word facts a lot you sure don't grasp the gravity of what one is.
Learn to read. Where did I say the word "vague."Monster Heel;3278085 said:There is absolutely nothing "vague" about a fact.

Doomsday101;3278084 said:Colt players knew it and painter saw more snaps leading up to the Jets game. Did the Colts players know at what point they would come out? chances no but they knew they would not likely play the entire game. This was discussed ahead of time right after the Jags game.

I said you are "uninformed," and clearly you are. You have made sure there is no doubt about that at all.
Monster Heel;3278091 said:They played to win for a half and the organization decided to pull the starters afterwards. It's pretty clear what happened, if you're paying attention. If they weren't trying to win the game, the starters would've played like a series or two.
Doomsday101;3278096 said:The player knew it they had clinched everything and the talk heading into the Jets game was the fact that getting through the season healthy was the most important thing. The starter did go in and play well no one said they were trying to throw the game and players knew at any point they could get pulled from the game how would they know it? because it has been talked about the week before.
The problem here Dooms is this is about football and this guy doesn't know anything about the game. Beyond hopeless to tell him how the NFL teams do not reveal stuff to the press. We could show him dozens of articles after the fact where Irsay, Pollian, Caldwell, and Colts players discussed it. Because the Colts didn't tell the press they were going to do it, he won't grasp the significance.Doomsday101;3278089 said:Fact is it was being talked about ahead of time and yes Caldwell was not going to come out before the game and tell the press but during the week as players get ready for the game yes they damn well knew as backups where seeing more snaps during the week as they got ready for the jets game.
Oh look, what I just predicted in my last post is exactly the stance he now takes.Monster Heel;3278100 said:I don't even think you understand what is being argued. What is being argued is whether or not the Colts said they were going pull their starters prior to the game. They never concretely stated that they would do this. Neither you or Hostile can seem to understand that. Maybes, perhaps-es and what-ifs are not "we're going to pull our starters".
Believe it or not, there are three other Divisions and 12 more teams in the Conference. He isn't exactly at the base of the tree looking up either.bbgun;3278099 said:We've won the East two out of the last three years, so Jimmy is hardly going out on a limb.

Witness ignorance in action folks. That is what it looks like.
I just farted. It was smarter than anything you have said in this thread. Especially the last half dozen spin control posts.Monster Heel;3278110 said:You mean like you having no concept of the Cowboys defense having an effect on the Cowboys ability to get off the field on 3rd down or allowing a high YPA?

I figured there was a need to bring it back to something you can understand. Football is clearly over your head.Monster Heel;3278116 said:And yet you continue to post.
Keep it up.
Haven't you read, Jimmy is feeding the hype that will kill this team.bbgun;3278118 said:Correct, we're one of several teams with Super Bowl caliber talent, but we've known that for several years now. Had Jimmy predicted an NFC title for the Boys this year, that would have been slightly more newsworthy. Otherwise, he's not telling us anything we didn't already know.
