How can anything be clear to you given where your head is?

Is it clear to you that the 20 points Dallas held them to was only eclipsed by the 14 points the Jets held them to and eliminated them from the playoffs?

My apologies. I asked a football question. That was wrong of me to go over your head on a topic. My bad.

The Chargers soundly whipped the Cowboys in third down efficiency and Phillip Rivers had a higher yards per attempt than Tony Romo.

The Jets forced Rivers to turn it over twice and the Chargers were horrible on third down (the Jets were too though). The Chargers leaving points on the field was the clinching factor.

Phillip Rivers and Tony Romo don't play on the Defenses.

I knew this was over your head.

So let me get this straight ..... the Cowboys beating the Saints in the regular season means nothing.

But because the Chargers beat us in the regular season we are not a good defense.

You are incredible with your thought process.

I wasn't aware that the Cowboys defense wasn't responsible for Phillip Rivers out passing Tony Romo and being unable to stop the Chargers on third down.

Your reasoning skills are pretty poor if that's what you've inferred from all of this, but okay whatever.

That is exactly what you have said so far in this thread.

You said the Saints game means nothing because that was the regular season ....

And you use the Chargers game to point out how our defense isn't really that good.

You are talking out both sides of your *** (as usual) and everyone here can see it but you.

The Chargers game is a clear example of why having the #2 scoring defense is overrated and why simply limiting a team from scoring isn't a be all and end all indicator of a good defensive performance. There are other examples of this for Dallas in 2009, but that one stands out and I'm using it as a talking point.

Clearly, you don't understand the discourse in this topic, so move along.

And I'm still waiting on an explanation.

The quicker everyone admits, I'm dead on, the better.

we have one and you will see ALOT of him next year...his name is kevin ogletree....he's the next terry glenn for us...very smooth in getting in and out of his routes and he has some SPEED! just get us on O line that is not stupid and we are there jerrah..

I disagree...yes, he may be, but have not seen enough on him and his play yet. He runs 1 or 2 routes well....he needs to learn them all. Not enough playing time yet to say he's the next TG....KO does not have that kind of speed IMO.

Yet no one is allowed to use the Saints game as an example of why they are a good defense.

Hence talking out both sides of your *** ..... :D

All this over a difference of opinion?
Really.

OMG he insinuated the 2010 Cowboys are not the second coming of the 1992 Cowboys! Cue the dogpile and subsequent beat down.

Coach Johnson is right, this team will need something else opposite Austin or we are not going to do much more than 2009 unless we are fortunate. I do not have any faith in Roy Williams.

Yeah, a Saints team playing for nothing with countless guys injured vs an abnormally healthy Cowboys team playing for everything. And worst all of all the Saints had a chance to tie the game at the end. That's an excellent indicator of the Cowboys defense alright. I expect nothing less from a Cowboys jock rider though.

The Saints weren't playing for an undefeated season? Ware off a neck injury qualifies as abnormally healthy? You are really talking nonsense now. Nevermind my previous commentary. Beatdown back on.
