doesn't matter if Philly keeps Howard, that town is just bad luck for sports fans

It's a bittersweet thing up here.

I'm open to this but we'd be awfully crowded at OLB were Ellis to come back successfully. I doubt Porter's interested in a limited role and he'll have more suitors than just us.

San Francisco and the Jets will be all over this guy.

This almost certainly guarantees that the Steelers pick either Moss or Spencer at #15. I was hoping they'd go another route so that both would more likely be available at #22.

Dallas was talking to alot of OLB candidates at the Senior Bowl and Combine, I think they're looking to add another OLB candidate

You don't think a guy like Porter could have been one of the patients of that Pittsburgh doctor do you? He doesn't show any of the classic signs of such activity, does he?

Guys this isn't Madden. Where will Porter play, are we benching Carpenter? This guy will not come cheap, and may I remind youi we already have more than enough money in the lber position. That money can be used to sign Colombo and a RG.

I would love to have Porter but do we really need him at that price?I do think he is better than Ellis especially now.

Well I am personally hoping Carp takes Bradie's spot.

I'm not really for Porter but I wanna draft an OLB at 22.

1. Carpenter can move inside.

2. We have more than enough cap space.

3. The LB corps does not have much money tied up in it (I think the total LB corps that is under contract has a cap hit next year of about $5 million)

4. We enough cap space to sign Colombo and a RG and Porter.

I would be all over Porter

Carp in the middle with Porter on one side and Ware on the other..

Carp will just take over for either Adoyle or James..

Ellis will have a place as a D-end and sometimes OLB

Porter is better and younger than Ellis

I totally agree.

We need to desperately need to address this problem of the Cowboys having too many pass rushers. It was a huge problem last year (heck, the last decade). Too many pass rushers !! We can only suit up eleven, folks !!!

If we do go LB in FA...

I would rather Porter than Thomas.

He'll be much cheaper and Porter is more of a leader.

What about him? Whoever we sign is not getting Vanderjagt type money and even his contract wasn't massive relative to other positions.

:hammer: Porter or somebody else, as they say, you can never have enough good pass-rushers
