Jones wants Dez Bryant targeted even 'when he's double covered'

I have t seen accuracy from Dak in the preseason or in week 1 to indicate he should be trying to throw into double coverage. There are two parts to a completion. Half of that is getting the ball into a place where dez can try win the battle.

Another example of making adjustments (even if they are ridiculous) mid week instead of mid game. At any rate, at least it's recognized that you have to get a top 5 wide receiver in the league the ball more than once per game.

Me I have to admit I would take JG's job in a heartbeat, and let jerry disrespect me all he wants for 6 mil a year.

But if your a real HC, then he would have left and try and get in a better situation to prove he can win, but here he has it made
top salary, top facility's, top stadium, a QB that can make you look good, and he is the boss, he doesnt do much actual work.

When the Jones family tell us the Garrett is the last guy to leave the building everyday. It leaves me scratching my head. Nothing about this offense has changed....so WHAT is he DOING? Williams is no better. Dez does not get moved around. We run on first and 2nd...throw on third. We don't generate turnovers. We don't get to the QB. We lead the league in drug suspensions. We blow the 2nd round pick every year. We finish .500. We don't win at home. This team is a sitcom in syndication. Every week is a re-run. So why is he working late?

6 mil a year, and he isnt working, he is just there, enforcing the "process" and doing things like explain to williams why he should go out of bounds.
Thinking up new mantras to put on t-shirts, and mess around with his mannequin.

Last thing I want is Dak throwing into double coverage. If Dez is doubled, the other WRs better beat their man.

That was the game plan last week and we had Beasley drop a walk-in TD, Witten gaining 2 yards off screen passes, and Terrance Williams making a pee-wee football level mistake. We absolutely have to find ways to give our best player the ball, double teamed or not. I'd be 100% okay if we have to line him up at tailback and hand it off. Just get the ball in his freaking hands.

It's hard to argue Tyron being our best player but c'mon... Dez not getting open is clearly due to the lack of creativity in the play calling. You can't expect a guy to get open while he's running the same 3-4 routes while being double teamed half the time. Nobody would get open in his situation unless they have all-world blazing speed.

Even with play calling, he most likely will get doubled. He can run more comeback routes to the qb to get more separation.
