Julius Jones Can Be Easily Replaced In The Draft

Gee, yet another great contribution by our man Stash. At least I take a stand my friend, versus riding the popular sentiments of the day around here. :lmao2:

Pull and post where I said trade him for a 3rd rounder...the fact is you can't. Get your facts straight before slamming me. Who are you? Vinny Cerrato? :laugh2:
Although, the more I think of it, a 3rd rounder is probably all we'd get for JuJones.

Enlighten me with your wisdom.

Tell me the package of great draft choices we'd get for a running back who's not good enough to keep?

Show me the error of my ways and how you - a PC jockey - have a master plan to dump a mediocre running back for a king's ransom from an NFL GM.

Show me - clueless.

I understand your point, and it makes sense.

I just think it's kind of pointless to speculate either way. Barber isn't really a factor in my feelings on Julius. I don't want him to be the starter, although I feel he's earned the right to compete. I want A guy, or at least two guys, wherein the first guy can average more than 4.1 ypc and not gain 0 or negative yardage on close to 30% of his carries.

I also want to see JJ get better. IMO the first thing that needs to happen is lose some of the bulk BP asked him to put on so hopefully he can regain his quickness and cutting ability.

No, there's no "stand" at all.

Merely mindless *****ing.

A "stand" would require some facts to back up your point.

You pulled out your draft guide and said player "X" is better than Jones.

You provided nothing relevant to back up your position.

Therefore it's just noise.

I think many on this board become to emotionally attached to our players and therefore overrate them.
Two words.

Ricky.

Ray.

The challenge I posed to you was to pull and post where I stated we should trade JuJones for draft pick without a prospect to replace him. Like I said, the fact is you want find one because I didn't say it. Not surprising that you didn't bother addressing that little factoid. LOL. Until you get your facts straight, why should I even bother debating with you?

Your response above shows further ignorance of the topic at hand as I never stated that we'd get a package of great draft picks for a middling RB.

There, I just showed you the "error of your ways". Talk about a "PC Jockey", you rule the roost in that department.

What about him? He's Philo's guy. From what it sounds like, he has torn it up in the CFL. At least Philo is throwing out names, which is more than I can say for some of you armchair pundits. :lmao:

What would you trade him for?

Use our number 1 pick to fill the hole we'd soon be creating? Is that you "brilliant" strategy?

Do something you haven't done yet - provide an answer.

No, you haven't provided anything.

Merely complaining about Jones and pulling out your handy draft guide.

What "insight" there.

You never mentioned any draft pick. You haven't given a solid idea for "improving" the team.

In fact you've never mentioned anything relevant in any way.

Way to go Marv.....

Julius Jones: Nothing Special

Starters on the cowboys who are nothing special:

Kyle Kosier
Andre Gurode
Leonard Davis
Mark Colombo
Marcus Spears
Chris Canty
Carpenter
Akin Ayodele
Bradie James
Anthony Henry
Whoever is our safety

We should trade these guys away.

(Point being - nothing special DOES NOT EQUAL bad player.)

It's got plenty of chuckles.

Anything you or your "friend" post makes me laugh.

How come you don't take into consideration that maybe, just mabe, the Cowboys oline has sucked for a few years now? That might have something to do with the production of a running back, right?

Remember, football is a team sport...if the oline sucks, Dorsett could not get through a hole...

One player, Jones, does not make the whole picture look bad...

If you were truly two separate individuals, you would first consider pointing the finger at someone who's deeply and emotionally attached enough to vastly overrate players (i.e. Ricky Ray)...

...namely, philo beddoe...

...before you would move on to anyone else on this board. Then again, who's to say you're two posters in the first place?

is ray rice going in the draft or staying in school? (rb from rutgers)

I think he's going to say in school with his brother, Fried Rice...

I'm not sure "whack" has been acceptable for the last decade.

Bring it back.

Wait for it....wait for it....
