For all the he’d rather get paid than win crowd......hate to break it to ya but a majority of these players are like that whether we like it or not. However, hill has won. He’s got a super bowl and he’s played in another and been on competitive teams for several years now.

He has every right to go out there and get get a huge huge pay day and take advantage of his opportunities now and it makes it much easier when you already won.

Just your typical person that only cares about money. Like 90% of all sports now

Goes from a contender to a nobody.

i’d wager you can count on one hand the players who would turn down a pay disparity of that magnitude.

he’s also already won a title, and the afc has become far more competitive

This could go well for the Cowboys. Receiver market just got out of control. This draft is deep at receiver and now receivers will move up in the draft. The Chiefs and Packers are now forced to take a first round receiver and maybe even two. The Cowboys were wise to get Gallup signed to the long term deal and sign Washington on a cheap deal. Now they can draft a good receiver and have a possible starter on a rookie deal.

Dude are you serious. This is throwing poo on a wall..what you just wrote. Hill signed a 3 year extension in 2019..3 yrs and 54 mil. He’s helped them to multiple SBs. They then traded his for 5 picks including a 1st and 2nd. They also added JuJu and others this off season and now can draft guys. We got a 5th and a hole. The fact that you are shoveling it’s similar gives you zero credibility. Stop trying

If you want to argue they got worse. Fair because he’s a game changer. Just don’t act like we are in the same boat because they are set to replenish.
Don’t bother. This particular poster sees nothing wrong with how the Cowboys FO runs things. Lol. Anyone that disagrees isn’t a fan.

In this sport you gotta get your money first. You're only an injury away from sitting on the couch posting on cowboyszone.com

We shouldn’t assume that Cooper is in the same class as Adams or Hill because he wasn’t.

Did KC not realize that you're supposed to first announce to the world that you'll cut the player if you cant trade them.....then try to make a deal?

That is an insane haul for a WR. Even a really good and unique WR.

Kind of a weird trade. Dolphins aren't a player away from winning and they gave up a huge haul and yet KC is in their 'win now' window and gave up their best WR... but then again, they can shore up a lot of holes with all those draft picks
After the trade, is this what KC has for now?
Rd 1 - nos. 29 & 30
Rd 2 - nos. 50 & 62
Rd 3 - nos. 94 & 103
Rd 4 - nos. 125 & 135
Rd 7 - nos. 233, 243, 257, 259

They got a lot more than a 5th round pick. That's why people react differently.

I like it. Always never cared in the past how few trades the NFL had in relation to MLB/NBA/NHL.

There used to be more trades in the NFL before free agency and the salary cap. Teams had more draft picks because there were more rounds in the draft. Unless a player was released trading was the only way you could fill a hole with a veteran player.

He's already won his Super Bowl. Now he's cashing out. What's the problem?

And he already has a ridiculous amount of money. Would cash out either way taking a team friendly deal / reworking contract / extension moving forward.

And that is great, yet when Dallas won the SB in the 90's Irvin wanted and got Jerry Rice money or else he would walk, Emmitt wanted Berry Sanders money or else he would walk and we know he held out until he got it. Guys who play this game expect to get paid and if you can't do it they will look to someone else who can. Not difficult to understand.

Not difficult unless they're jealous of the money these guys make and then need to come up with every possible moral failing they can fling at them to help balance out the bruise to the financial ego.

So amassing money is a sin? Lol. You live in the wrong country if so.

Cant wait to see:

"Cedrick Wilson passes to Hill for a TD"
"Wait there a flag on the play, looks like this one is coming back"
"Holding, offence, Conner Williams"

- So now the Fins have two lighting jet speedsters in Tyrek Hill Jaylen Waddle (and if they re-sign him) Wil Fuller - easiest and by far the Fastest set of WRs
in the entire NFL.

- And they also have DeVantae Parker and Preston Williams ... and recently re-signed Cedrick Wilson.
Something is gonna give with this WR group. Expect either Parker or Williams to be traded ? .
