I thought this guy would play a lot more and take over Brown's spot, but damn I was wrong. He's been a major disappointment , he's played only 6 snaps on defense. I know it's early, but damn, this guy is earning that bust label real quick.

Learn from it. Never trust a cornerback.

Aside from Joseph, I don’t understand the obsession with replacing Brown. He’s a damn good CB and has been even better this year than last. He’s going to get a nice contract this coming offseason.

Next year when Brown is gone, Joseph, Bland, and Wright will all be trying for that spot. May the best man win.

Until then, we have good depth and a good gunner on ST’s. Yes you want your 2nd round pick doing more than that, but if he’s a good starter next year and the year after then it’ll be a lot less disappointing. We’ll have to see.

that 2021 draft has some bad picks….
Many fans had similar attitudes towards Dalton Schultz, Noah Brown, Anthony Brown, Trysten Hill, Dorance Armstrong, and especially Cooper Rush. They didn't make 1st team All Pro their rookie seasons.

These were the names mentioned weekly over the past 3-5 years when it came to cutting, trading, labeling a bust and reasons the Cowboys will never be a good team.

Today they are the names associated with the reason the Cowboys overcame injuries and losing talent to free agency and still look to be getting stronger by the week.

At some point Cowboys fans may be forced to accept that these players are part of the team and wish them the best. They may have to accept the unorthodox practice of enjoying our young player's careers as they learn, improve, overcome challenges and become more experienced, productive contributors.

This is contrary to the belief that typical NFL players come from college fully assembled and readymade. We do indeed have a small handful of those kind of guys. That's what makes them special. However, the typical NFL rookie requires teaching.....training......coaching.......experience........patience.

When the Cowboys drafted him I was concerned he would be more dedicated to his music career than football.
I'm not overly concerned with him at all now. He plays when he plays.

I never said, but Josephs ceiling is a lot higher than Browns. What don't you playbois understand?

Is Brown a Scrub or something??? I Think Dan Quin and Brown are just fine… LVE is who we should focus on not Kelvin, That is the position that needs to be upgraded.. Brown doing just fine leave it alone

Yep, I was initially thinking this year. But the truth is, this roster is so deep that he's relegated to special teams, which is fine with me.

He gives us needed depth, and is still a developmental guy, like Noah Brown.

Thank You.
agreed :)

Anthony Brown has not been good this year. I still have no idea why i keep reading excuses for this bum on here - 24 receptions allowed this season (pretty sure that's tied for the most in the league), I believe a couple TDs he has given up, his week 2 game was absolutely freakin' awful

10 targets, 7 allowed, 69 yards, 1 TD.

Dude is JAG.

Overcoming confidence issues is very difficult for sure.

Whether or not it was a good pick is debatable. But at least it wasn't catastrophic injury issues. He was drafted there for one main reason. He has all the physical tools to be a high level player. Whether he matures & grasps the mental side who knows. All the testing in the world won't give you that answer.
Yup . . . Only time . . . fingers crossed

I think that calling any player on this defense a bum is ignorant.

I kinda think they're gonna draft another CB though. Bland looks like he'll be a player but that shouldn't stop them from drafting one in the 4th or so.

He’s given up 26 receptions for 266 yards and 2 tds in 4 games. You are way overrating him. He’s ok. But he’s significantly worse than Diggs.

A lot of next gen stats showing him to be a very good corner last year which is when he made the initial jump. If anyone is complaining about this years secondary in any way it’s confusing.

I get those numbers aren’t elite but our secondary has more than done their job. Couldn’t be happier with how little impact teams passing games have had.

Eh I don’t see it. You’ve got 5 guys already who will be on the team next year. Maybe they take a late flier but anyone else they add will be inactive all season.

Jourdan Lewis is in a contract year next so it’s not out if the question
