I think that calling any player on this defense a bum is ignorant.

Yeah, LVE is absolutely killing it out there tackling 20 yards down the field. So are our DTs.

Some of you are in for a rude awakening when this run defense is one of the reasons we take an L.

Speaking of ignorance and here it comes. Lol, I love it. Take another look at the defensive tackles and the linebacker depth is excellent. Kearse is coming back and Cox and Clark are on the horizon.

Yeah. Personally I would have selected Humphrey at that slot but there were very good players on the board when we reached for this guy who had several red flags

They still have their best defensive backfield in a decade.

Yeah, when you only focus on a single aspect of defense (pressure on QB), you will think we are seeing a doomsday defense again. Want to show me the amount of rushing yards our D has given up this year? Why are we giving up that much if our LBs and DTs are so good?

Somebody isn't doing their job. But apparently no one on this defense is a JAG or a bum.

They are a TEAM and a solid one at that. The yardage is coming on the outside, not on the inside where the tackles are.

Yeah, except I was talking about individual players. So, I ask again, if there are no JAGs or bums on this team, why is our run defense more than suspect right now? I guess since it's a "TEAM" - I guess we gotta group in Diggs and Parsons for these scrubs not doing their job.

He was cleared. Because apparently, he totally had no idea they were hunting down two men they had an altercation with when he got into the car with those murderers.

...or, you know, he snitched to save himself. Bleeding heart Jerry and his second chances.

Those you named are not thug moron children.
The topic had nothing to do with his off field issues. The OP was discussing the fact that he has not asserted himself on the field and competed to start.

His off field issues, thus far, has not prevented him from competing although it may be related to his mindset.

The way he played in real games last year it looked like he would challenge for the #2 CB. Now he is losing playing time to a rookie 5th round pick. I would bet the offseason stuff has been a major issue. Hopefully he gets it together, because we have three starting CB's whose contracts are up in the next two years

Aside from Joseph, I don’t understand the obsession with replacing Brown. He’s a damn good CB and has been even better this year than last. He’s going to get a nice contract this coming offseason.

Next year when Brown is gone, Joseph, Bland, and Wright will all be trying for that spot. May the best man win.

Until then, we have good depth and a good gunner on ST’s. Yes you want your 2nd round pick doing more than that, but if he’s a good starter next year and the year after then it’ll be a lot less disappointing. We’ll have to see.

Being humbled and playing ST might knock some sense into him for next year.

On a team, usually, you have 3 maybe 4 star players. This league is FULL of role players, as a matter of fact, most players are role players. They play a role on your team, and it's okay. So if Joseph is a role player, that's quite fine, because we need solid contributors on any team.

I thought this guy would play a lot more and take over Brown's spot, but damn I was wrong. He's been a major disappointment , he's played only 6 snaps on defense. I know it's early, but damn, this guy is earning that bust label real quick.
Brown is an entrenched veteran that is playing really well.

Joseph gave up a total of minus 2 yards receiving in his 1st NFL start (2021).

Joseph is a top 3 special teams contributor based on snaps. Last week he played more ST snaps than ST leader CJ Goodwin.

Some fans still have zero respect for him lol. He’s as good a CB2 as you’ll get around the league and will get paid as maybe more after this year.

He is one of those players that a few started ragging on for no reason other than one bad play, or some dumb reason.
Then others jump on that wagon. Then more and more, because they feel that is the thing to do.
You know how it goes on here.

Just like many players in TC, are anointed to the HOF for play against TC fodder.

The Cowboys hate to admit they were wrong after only two seasons about a second round pick.

Bossman has the tools but the immaturity will not take you far. Not to mention Anthony Brown has been getting better and better each year.
