Chip knew what he had in Philly wasnt gonna get it done in the NFC. Wasnt even gonna get it done in the division. Its back to the drawing board, and yea, maybe its a gamble but he's going all in. He's either a fool or he's got some big ones, or he's both and that could be his downfall.

agreed

Yes, Kiko has a ton of upside and it sucks that he's now in the NFC East.

McCoy is nearing 27 years old, and outside of 4 games last year, he looked like Ray Rice in his last season of play. This is nowhere near a good trade by the Bills. You don't give up an LB with a lot of upside for an RB that is slowing down has MAYBE 2 years of quality play left in him.

I have no idea why people are praising this trade like this made Buffalo contenders.

Shady was 3rd in the NFL in rushing last year with a patch work Philly o line and he was running in a read option system where the QB was 0 threat to actually run the ball. In other words, he was still very good last year.

And the jury is out on Kiko....just because he racked up tackles behind that Buffalo D line doesn't make him great. And even if he is good, there have been 7 traditional (non pass rushing) LB's drafted in the 1st round since '10. The position just isn't that valuable. To trade a top 5 RB for a LB who is coming off of an ACL injury is crazy in my eyes...guess we'll find out.

seems like the only thing left with value in the nfl anymore is a qb,ot a team full of 3 year contracts, and cap space.

Sure they could, but he's still getting $10 mil for this season, and he ain't worth close to it.

Then it drops to 6.9 in 2016 and 7.6 in 2017

That comes out to 3 yr 24.5 million with 1 million worth of other bonuses. 3yr 25.5 million total

Good point on the Philly line not being what it was in '13.

But Buffalo's line... even healthy isn't good.

On top of that the QB situation in Philly is much better that what the Bills currently have in Buffalo.

And then you have the $10 mil cap hit on top of that.

Ouch.

Eagles setting themselves back a decade. Watch when they mortgage the future going after Mariota

Who knows what's going to happen, but it feels like Kelly just traded the only pressure player on their offense currently for a potentially broken MLB to play in a 3-4.

As Sturm was just saying on Twitter, the Eagles..and Cowboys, know the draft is full of good RBs this year. Everyone is trying the New England method of getting something a little early instead of giving it up too late.

Agreed. McCoy is proven and Kiko might not be the same. I get that people don't want to pay that much for a RB, but I think this hurts Philly.. Unless they have other plans with the amount of cap they have now.

So folks are seriously touting Philly as scary? A team that is undecided at QB, lost arguably the best RB in the league and has other glaring holes. They have a ton of work ahead.

Suh to Philly makes no sense. Their interior DL is arguably the best unit on the entire team.
