I'd like to be a fly on the wall near the first conversation he has with his maker

That would be, "REJECTED!" :laugh2:

Yup! In the ground!!!!

I try not to celebrate death but this one one fruitcake that needed to go. He is up there with Sadam and Bin Laden. Go watch the youtube vids of what goes on inside North Korea....so screwed up. They think KJI is a god too.

I think they see him as a god when the authorities are present. Outside of that this man has allowed his people to starve

He was the best golfer the world has ever seen

In 1994, Pyongyang media reported that Kim Jong-il shot an amazing 11 holes-in-one to achieve an unprecedented 38-under-par game on a regulation 18-hole golf course - on his first try at golf.

Reports say each of his 17 bodyguards verified the record-breaking feat.

He was the most amazing man in the world. :lmao:

Mind-boggling facts : :lmao:

Good to see him gone. But having said that, who knows what the world is getting in his place. The kid could think the world is one big video war game and start some serious s**t!

I think it is more likely that military leaders will use him as their own puppet. He is very young and found this interesting from a classmate of his

Joao Micaelo, who went to school in Switzerland, believes Kim Jong Un was one of his classmates between 1998 and 2001.

"He was a normal guy like me," interested in sports, movies and computers, Micaelo said last year. "He was competitive at sports. He didn't like to lose, like any of us."

Micaelo said his classmate played basketball and had basketball games on his PlayStation.

"The whole world for him was just basketball all the time," Micaelo said.
Micaelo said he shared a desk with the North Korean. One day, Micaelo said, the young man who went by the name Pak Un told his friend, "I am the son of the leader of North Korea."

Micaelo said he doesn't know what to expect from Kim as a leader.
"I can just say what I know: Un, when he was 16, he was a good guy," Micaelo said. "So, I don't think he would do something bad. But I don't know what he's been like in the last nine years."

I just don't see the Military leaders in NK putting their fate in this kid

No reason to believe the apple has fallen far from the tree.
It'll probably be business as usual or an opportune time for some dissenting forces to enact a coup. Time will tell.

Regardless.

The times of dictatorships are over.
Maybe not literally today but they will soon be a thing of the past.

They are dropping like flies... but force or by natural death in this case.

I disagree. This was a less (world) politically charged way to accomplish the same thing.

Kim Jong-il and North Korea were never really a legitimate threat.

"Waiting it out" is the best course of action for this one. Lets hope that his youngest son, who's expected to take over, is a little more modernized in thought and less brainwashed, kind of like Castro's son.

Still, I've heard that he's even worse than his papa.

I think he will have less control than his father. I fully expect the military heads in NK to be running the show not a 20 something year old. They will use him as a token. However I don't know how much of one he is when the people of NK are constantly trying to escape into China but they also know punishment is extreamly harsh when they are caught. Heck even if you make it the punishment falls to your family.
