I guess because you said dictatorships are a thing of the past yet they still exist in NK because no one can go in covertly or address it militarily (without massive loss of life, which I believe holds the U.S. and others (?) at bay). You also have what strikes me as a type of dictatorship in Iran, Syria & Saudi Arabia and I believe there are still several across Africa. Hopefully all their days are numbered but yet they continue to survive. :bang2:

I think he will have less control than his father. I fully expect the military heads in NK to be running the show not a 20 something year old. They will use him as a token. However I don't know how much of one he is when the people of NK are constantly trying to escape into China but they also know punishment is extreamly harsh when they are caught. Heck even if you make it the punishment falls to your family.

His wife, who is a smmmmmmoking hot Latina, used to say that he wasn't worried about being on the border even during the torpedo attack incident by the North. He was only worried about Il dying and the psycho son taking over.

He seemed to think that Un would try to get out of his father's shadow and assert himself as the true leader of the country by some kind of military action on the islands on the border between teh two countries. The kid has one heck of an inferiority complex from living in the shadow of Granddaddy and Daddy Dearest. Expected either a coup or a military engagement.
