Green suffered a hamstring injury in the Colts' third preseason game against the Niners. He will revert to injured reserve if/when he clears waivers. There's a strong chance he will be released with an injury settlement once he's back to full health. The 23-year-old struggled in coverage last year but impressed as a run-stopper, earning PFF's No. 10 safety grade in that category

He played college football at Clemson, and was drafted by the Colts in the second round (57th overall) of the 2016 NFL draft.

Certainly looks like there will be some options to try and improve the safety situation.

None of the cuts so far have been shocking if you know what other teams have been doing.

I doubt there are surprises until tomorrow. Tonight is probably where teams are scrambling to move whatever tradeable talent they have.

So if any player goes to another team. Because that team can claim them before Dallas. Will the usuals still blame Jerry that we did not get him.
If they want a player bad enough, swing a trade. Give up a pick or a player.

I don't think anyone should get credit just because they put a waiver wire claim in when they get 19th dibs.

But we tried!

I don't see where he would fit. We have pass rushers at DE with Lawrence and Gregory, and already have an undersized pass rushing specialist backing them up (Armstrong). Then there is Taco, and possibly Tapper as bigger DEs.

Kikaha is better than both Armstrong and Tapper right now. And Kikaha was more productive in college and his first year in the league than Taco. You can't teach his kind of intensity. Even with his injury concerns, I love the passion and fight he plays with.

Cowboys need more of those kind of players, measurements should not the be all and end all.
