Don't mind the addition of Leon Hall to Dallas if we can seal the deal but IMO this puts drafting a DB inthe first 3 rounds on the back burner.

We like those bridge signings. 2 year deal allows rookie to learn and not have to start immediately . But our 4th overall is a starter. Looks more and more like bosa or ramsey BUT! Im hoping for Elliot .

I think this is meant for Carr not Ramsey. Why the hate for Ramsey all of a sudden ? I see a lot of board members saying they don't want him

His best position is FS...and we already have one in Jones.....

As for Hall.....If he's replacing Carr....who isn't willing to take a pay cut/being selfish...then I'm all for it.

Carr has stolen Jerry's money for years.....It has to stop. Mark this down as a step in the right direction of accountability.

Or maybe they are recognizing the idea that if a veteran can play, they can provide stability to a secondary that clearly lacks a leader and has poor communication.

Outside of Jones, all we have in the secondary is veteran leadership...

It's looking like they want to go with a veteran. They were in on Carroll as soon as he signed we now visiting with Hall who is he 3rd best free agent corner on the market right now. Could it be to play safety? Since corners when at that age start looking to make the change? With he reports of them wanting a Safety in free agency to put Byron at Carr's position and cut him to make some space?

I think they are being haunted by when we drafted the best overall DB coming out of LSU. ;);)

I think you know what I mean. Communication has always looked disjointed and jumbled, players in the wrong spots, throwing their hands up. Even with Scandrick healthy.

Adding another veteran, provided their level of play is still top shelf can only help.

I think they are probably going to keep Carr and consider the 50mil sunk money. Carr is hardly great but, he will
give you 16 games and usually plays well in big games. My guess he stays. I think Leon is a slot corner
or maybe a safety now.

This would be good. Hopefully they don't have to have a money war with the cardinals.

True accountability would be firing the guys who gave him that contract not eventually releasing that player so the same front office can sign more.

I see Carr staying with a pay cut though simply cause of him playing 16 games a year. Didn't Ryan use Carr at safety and he actually looked good when he did?

I know what you mean and it sounds sort of like the same strategy this team has been trying the last few years. The problem is a lack of talent more than anything else though. Even if Leon Hall can still play at a high level, it's another stop gap in the secondary. This team is dangerously close to being in the same spot it was when they were forced to draft three corners because they didn't have any on the roster. Claiborne on a one-year deal. Carr one year (at most) from being cut. Adding Leon Hall on what I imagine would be a very short deal.

I know the team is in a tough spot and I don't want them just throwing money around, but they put themselves in this position by being out of touch with their own team so they get no pass from me.
