Where did i ever say we needed stud WRs? what i'm saying is thinking you can just throw some bums of the street out there and win is ********. They're not punters, there's a reason people spend high draft picks to get recievers

He just said they're overrated. Of course you need to have talent there but you also don't need to be the Lions and draft 3 top ten recievers in 4 years. You draft 3 top ten linemen in 4 years.

Just because the position is overrated does not mean you can throw bums out there and win. It is A LOT easier to find quality, efficient, and effective WRs than you think. Point in case, the steelers, ravens, bucs, and patriots of recent memory.

Tennessee Titans had the best record last year and their receivers are a lawl.

if it's so easy how come we haven't been able to do it since Irvin retired?

Even the New York Giants with Burress didn't have an exceptional group of WRs when they won the superbowl. What we have at WR right now is more than enough. That is ALL I am saying.

and they won how many playoff games with those receivers?

Had they gotten a better WR they would've been potential Super Bowl champions.

What on EARTH are you talking about? Terry Glenn, Keyshawn, TO, Bryant, just to name a few were all good enough for us to win games. Are you serious?

And the bears in 06..Common denominator..legit defenses. I'd rather aquire the Wilforks,Revis's,Landry's,Willis's of the world.

How about the Baltimore Ravens of last year? THe Titans didnt lose in the playoffs bc of their lack of WRs.

And i don't disagree with that, i disagree with saying it's the most overrated position in football, the Giants don't win in 07 without Burress

Vincent Jackson for CRYING out loud is good enough as a #1 WR to win in this league...We are talking about VINCENT JACKSON!

It is by far the most overrated position in the NFL, hands down. Important? Sure, but not as important as many think, hence the term OVERRATED.

Mason was pretty damn good towards the end of last season if you don't believe me go rewatch the game we had with them

you can say the same for running backs yet we have 3 of those and they supposedly make us good, go figure

Hahahahaha, so now Mason is considered a STUD? This arguement is over. Mason, hahaha. Reliable? Yes, STUD? Heck no. PERIOD.

Running backs are overrated as well, just because we have 3 of them does not change anything.

I can GUARANTEE if Derrick Mason was the Dallas Cowboys #1 WR this board would be on meltdown.

I'll ask you again WHERE DID I SAY STUD or that we needed a stud?

He has had 7 1,000 yard seasons. Our # 1 has only had one. We aren't all that naive and stupid.
