Football is played ON THE FIELD. Results dont lie.

Sure coming from behind-with the other sides pass rush coming against an offensive line that was mediocre at best. With a poor coaching staff and an atmosphere of defeat that usually started just before the national anthem.
Then last year I hold nothing against any other WR with the mess that was going on there and Garret screwing up. Not tomention injury to Romo...
and jee- Roy was injured too.
Marshall is widely regarded as having a lot of potential. Only casual knowledge people like yourself regardhim as one of the next great WRs.
Right now more scouts and coaches would pick Roy vs Marshall if given the choice- but then they KNOW SOMETHING about football.

You want this guy on the team after we just got rid of some of the knuckleheads?

I'll pass
Kangaroo;2809577 said:Quick when the Patriots one three SuperBowls who was their stud wr ?
Oh and what happen when they had a stud wr in the Super Bowl ?
MWILL;2809920 said:Not true.
A WR (Santonio Holmes) was the MVP of the Superbowl last season.
The Cardinals got to the Superbowl with the Fitzy/Boldin/Breston combo. Not to mention they had no running game. They could of won it but the "D" let them down.
The WR position is not overrated.
Watch out for the Patriots WR's, they got better at that position too.

DallasDomination;2809896 said:What the hell??? DUDE get real. Nobody with half a brain cell would take Roy williams over Marshall. That's like saying You would take odom over Kobe.
Alexander;2809690 said:They would?
I'd like to see the evidence of this.
Marshall is nearly universally regarded as a top 10 WR in the league. Roy Williams is fortunate if he makes the top 20.
Don't take my word for it. Do a little research.
Apollo Creed;2809634 said:Brandon Marshall is a much better receiver than Terrell Owens is right now. Better route runner, better hands, and had a very poor running game to help him out.
You're ****ing high if you think other wise.
dcfanatic;2809977 said:He has surpassed Owens IMO.
But he's a risk off the field with his anger issues.
glorydaysrback;2809952 said:If you think Holmes winning the superbowl MVP refutes the fact that the WR position is overrated you would be incorrect. Are WRs capable of having big games? Of course, the fact that Holmes won the SB MVP, a WR who is not even considered a superstar really just proves my point and not yours.
Your arguement about the cardinals going to the superbowl is much closer to being a valid point than your Holmes arguement. My rebuttal to that is the fact that the Cardinals, outside of last year, have been NOTHING. They have had the Fitz and Boldin combo now for several years and have done squat. The reality is, over the history of the NFL many more teams without stud WRs have been successful more often than teams with stud WRs. I would be willing to bet that if I asked 100 people off the streets who follow the NFL who the best team in the NFC is right now, less than 15% would say the AZ Cardinals.
