I don't know if he's going to win the MVP or if we're going to win every game but we need to stop dancing around it. Dak is playing the position better than any other QB in the game and has been for some time now. It's no longer about whether he's top 10 or "elite." It's about is anybody better. The argument could certainly be made that Purdy is certainly on the same level but that ignores the fact that he's getting WAY more YAC than Dak is and the main statistical advantage Purdy has right now is yards per attempt by 1.5 yards I believe and that is almost completely a result of the fact that the Niners' receivers are averaging 1.5 more yards per catch than the Cowboys' receivers. Purdy is clearly ballin, but Dak is ballin more! But at this point Dak and Purdy are 1 and 1a at the QB position. Nobody else is playing as well as those two.

Best QB season THIS year ? ... yes i could see that debate.

best QB in NFL for some time ... nah, before he was totally bereft of WRs, it was clearly Chiefs Pat Mahomes
but despite KC winning SB twice outta the last 3 or 4 years, it's a strong possibly that they get bounced this year.
QBs gotta have the weapons, and Cowboys kept supplying Dak with such weapons (ala Lamb, Cooks and now Fergy)

With that said, we are getting actual elite QB play from Dak THIS year. I'm personally going to enjoy it as long as possible. Just praying Dak has finally gotten over the "big lights"-itis come playoff time or at least vs 49ers time. Really that's it.

You do realize Dak has more passes behind the LOS (74) and from 0-9 yards (204) than Purdy who has 51, 153 respectively.

Despite the narrative Purdy actually has a higher percentage of his throws down field than Dak does. The guy is not the check down machine everyone makes him out to be.

I can think of one that didn't...Trent Dilfer of the Ravens. He was horrible but....their defense got them that Superbowl. It's not about the QB....it's the TEAM...from the coaches on down.

I agree Dak is playing at the highest level and love it...as I have always been a Dak supporter...

I can only go by eye test as I am not educated in Football...

But Mahommes jumps off the screen as someone with a crazy ability to process game, feel in pocket, has legs to move around, can throw from multiple angles and launch angles...he just jumps off the screen to me. Never seen someone make what many consider the hardest position in sports look so simple. And I am a huge Rogers and Romo fan. Brady was amazing too. Mahommes just makes the thing look easy.

Anyway...Im a huge Dak supporter and he is playing top tier which I think most knew he was capable of. Its just Mahommes ability to make things look effortless that is hard to overlook. I support Dak through and through though...hes my QB.
