When we see these ending drives, it's time for the FO to recognize just how wishy washy Moore's playbook is.

Let me ask you a question please. You go against the Eagles. And you go for it and throw it down on your own side of the field. But yesterday we’re inside the three online and we kick a field goal. I say we kick the field goal because we need to points on the board and we knew we were going to come back and get more. Where as in the Eagles game it was take the points or never get them
They struggled to score just as much, with Dak, against the worst D in the league as they did against the Eagles, with Rush.

Now what was your question? I just saw another statement about your feels.

Drive 1 - Bad pass by Prescott on first attempt and then a sack
Drive 2 - Can't convert 3rd and 1 run
Drive 3 - Can't convert 3rd and 2 run
Drive 4 - Penalties
Drive 5 - Fumble
Drive 6 - TD
Drive 7 - Sack-great defensive play by Hutchinson
Drive 8 - Can't convert 3rd and 1 AGAIN run

This was not a bad Dak game, It was pretty poor by the offense on the 3rd down plays that cost us sustained drives. They seemed to have a letdown thinking they did not have to makeup for Rush's shortcomings
We shot ourselves in the foot with penalties but we got to give credit to the Lions defense. They played hard and fast. They were flying to the ball. That did not look like the 32nd defense. That defense looked good, especially against the run. The Noah Brown fumble is a good example. He got completely flipped in the air cuz he got hit so hard.

Dallas was rusty and had some penalties but give credit to their defense. Their defense played well and hard. Sometimes we have to remember the other team wants to win too.

This wasn't a bad "Dak" game. This WAS an AVERAGE Dak game.
This is what some of us have been complaining about for years. Against good teams, Dak loses these kinds of games.
He did his usual. Because no one else made a play that got the momentum going in the Cowboys favor, Dak just played like the rest of the squad, waiting for something or someone to create a break for the Cowboys.he didn't make the Cowboys better. He just was along for the ride.
Dak was silent for three quarters, and when the referees got involved and the Lions self destructed, Dak took advantage and ran up the score.
And with 1:55 remaining and the game already decided, Dak padded his stats with a touchdown pass.
So all of his fans quote stats and try to convince everyone else that they didn't see what we all saw. They instead put a spin on the stats and try and convince everyone that the game happened a different way.
Yesterday the Cowboys survived. But against good teams, well, we all know what happens.

I have heard a couple comments about refs getting involved...

Please tell me where. The TE definitely had a knee down on the Parsons tackle at the end zone and at no point was there any visual evidence of the ball hitting the ground on the Diggs int. What else was there?

That initial pass by Dak should have been caught by brown. little high, but thats a catch you make. Then of course Zeke runs for 1 or 2 yards on the next play.

2nd series same thing. Zeke is featured again and he gets minimal yards on his run....punt.

If Cowboys want to start games quicker they need to get Pollard in there sooner. To feature the slow and plodding Zeke to start out game is costing us.

The offensive performance was pathetic. No other word for it.

Win is a win right buddy? Blowout actually. Amazing I didnt hear you once complaining about Rush and the bad offense. It was just nothing but glee about how great Rush was. LOL

Typical troll flip flopping irony.

The fact that Detroit came to play didn’t help. Not all teams always do.

In my semi drunken first watch what stuck out was the usual….offensive penalties that they can’t overcome.

Also Moore seems to either be really good or awful, and yesterday much closer to the latter.

I guess whomever people hate the most they blame that player or coach. The Oline had a terrible game. If there was a part of the offense to blame it was that.

So why is it Moore's fault when the Oline has a bad day?

I have a great solution. Just get a first down in 2 plays. Because, I have zero confidence in our 3rd down play-calling. I would rather us be in 3rd down and 5 than 3rd down and 2. We get predictable on short yardage plays.

On drive 7 dak should have been able to throw quicker
Pollard was wide open
He doesn’t look to the flat enough under pressure instead he ducks his head (watches the rush)
This is an area rush is better. He will keep his eyes looking when he is getting hit
Prescot has been slow with his reads for YEARS! He looks clueless out there if he has to come off his first read and it's fricking sad!

I never agree with you so I just had to comment that, I agree. That spin move was so quick there is no way any QB can react to that quick enough!
Like I posted in another thread. If that was Parsons with that spin move, everyone would be talking about how he is the greatest passrusher of all time.

Obviously that guy is not nearly as good as Parsons, but on that one play, he LOOKED like he was.

JMHO
