I think its got TE written all over it at 26.

I just don't know which one they like.
If they wanna run more as they said it may be Washington but I'd go Kincaid 100% as the guy that can get down the seam
I think Kincaid would certainly be a favorite if they’re comfortable with his back. Folks have to realize that it really could be TE, CB, Edge, and even RB if Robinson falls.

And we heard the same thing on Gallup at this time, that he might be ready sooner than he was.
He is already moving around well and we are still several months away from starting the season. Unless there is a setback, he is looking good to start out of the gate. Everyone is different, we cannot just assume Steele won't be ready cause of Gallup, they also play to very different positions.

Remember, Steele won't be ready until October or so if you believe the reports.

So any rookie interior OL taken in the first will likely get a chance to start with the two Smiths playing the two OT positions. Now when Steele gets back? Then it gets interesting.
Not sure about that - he was moving pretty good in the video clip and he still have 5 month to rehab

QB-HC and front office still believe in their QB, probably will take a day 3 flyer on another one.
RB-Robinson is a potential superstar, but it's high unlikely a top 10 talent falls to 26
WR-JSN would be terrific with Lamb/Cooks, but probably is the 1st receiver drafted.
TE-Mayer/Kincaid/Washington/Mustgrave-they haven't taken a 1st rd TE since the 90's, have had success with 4th rd TE's
OL-Schmitz, Torrence, Avilia, Harrison-cannot see the team redshirting a 1st rd pick, only starts if injury occurs
NT-Smith/Ika-they haven't drafted a NT higher then day 3 in decades. Must have pass rush abilities to be considered
Edge-McDonald-DLaw's contract has to come off their books, Fowler/Armstrong are fa's after the season
Linebacker-Sanders-Lve just has a 2 yr contract, Clark and several other low level prospects behind him.
Corner-Banks/Forbes/Ringo-both Diggs/Gilmore are fa's in 2024
Safety-Branch-Hooker/Kearse are fa's in 2024
Love the write up - think Branch could be the pick, he has the ability to play both corner and safety at a high level. Wonder if there is a possibility of Weatherspoon dropping because I don’t think he is working out.

CB is the position they had the most combine visits by a large amount

This is you making it be what you want.

A first round guard would start day 1

I think Porter and Banks are going to be their top 2 targets. I can see them trading up for either

Something interesting to consider. They only interviewed 2 DT's at the combine. Byron Young (who is probably a 5th round type) and Gervon Dexter. So they could be very high on Dexter. I think he could a wildcard at 26

Probably hoping for to much luck but love to pull another 2020 draft with a situation like Ceedee falling to 26.
Doubt if Weatherspoon falls
Doubt it as well but maybe we can get lucky like 2020 Ceedee draft.

He is expected to be either the 1st or 2nd corner drafted. It's one thing to be picking in the middle of the rd, compared towards the end of the rd.

Dexter is more of a day 2 guy who probably will make it to 58.

A guard only starts day 1 if there is an injury. Steele appears ahead of schedule and Tyron is going to start at LT. You may not like it, but that's what they are going to do.

I’m hoping since he hasn’t worked out at either the combine or his pro day he might drop but I doubt to 26

There will be some war room fights. I could see the Cowboys taking 10 players at pick 26. It’s just to close to call and you don’t know who will drop. My question for the Robinson fans,if BJon is gone why not pick Gibbs at 26. The players are similar.

If a guard is drafted in the 1st round. He certainly will start.
