I absolutely am saying exactly that. 100% correct and on the money. The illegal nature of it is what constitutes it as "abuse." Otherwise it would just be "use."iceberg;1071929 said:hos, if you're saying using "any" drug illegally constitutes "abuse" then i would disagree. is this what you're saying?
That's not an NFL show, it's a sports radio show. Papa Joe Chevalier talks point spreads too.superpunk;1071927 said:http://sports.espn.go.com/keyword/search?searchString=Hank_Goldberg&source=l_navbar&rT=sports
Hank is all about the gambling. Check him out on Sunday mornings.
Also, listen to Foxsports radio right now. Czaban and co. are picking against the spread. They have Brandon Lang (prof. handicapper) on later. Gambling is a huge part of the media, and the NFL. Every week on Mike and Mike I know they pick against the spread. It's not a kiss of death by any means.
Not to belabor the point but again, not an NFL show.superpunk;1071936 said:

The NFL would come down on the network if an NFL affiliated show was discussing gambling. By all means, don't take my word for it. Call one of them and ask.superpunk;1071958 said:It's all the same network. Goldberg does it on television every sunday morning. You said guys like him and Berman don't reveal lines, if they did they'd be disciplined, and all these shows, including Goldberg, on television, reveal lines, and pick against them.

burmafrd;1072029 said:Then I feel sorry for you too. All this BS about consenting adults. What about the crime that is part and parcel of the drugs scene? All the drunks on the road? That is part of it to- no matter how much you want to deny it.

burmafrd;1072055 said:what is there to understand? That you need to drink or do drugs? THAT is why I feel sorry for you.
abersonc;1072056 said:So you are saying that an adult can't choose what to do? As long as I'm not endangering others then I feel you have no right to tell me what I can and what I can't do.
You don't like it then don't do it. And don't give me that "crime associated with it" rap -- that arguement can be made regarding any commodity. You don't think there is crime associated with industries like electronics, garbage collection, construction, firearms, cigarettes, et al?
