I don't think Vick should have ever been allowed back in the NFL. With my profession, if I had done what he did, I never would have been allowed back in a classroom. Why should he be treated any differently than anyone else would have?

I hope he gets hit hard week after week. I hate his guts.

And yes, I'm a dog lover and it makes me sick to think what he did. Sure, he did his time but that means nothing to me. All I can think of is those dogs every time I see him.

Vick is a scumbag....always has been and always will be in my book. I dont care if he did his time or not there is no way he should have been allowed back in the NFL.
He has a million dollar arm and a 10-cent brain.
Heres to breaking a leg this week Michael.

Understandable. And again, I loathe those people, please don't get me wrong. I do not think Vick is an "ok guy now". I just think his punishment fit his crime. 2 years is a lot longer than people think when you're in prison.

Yeah? 2 years? He ate. He slept. He lived. He did not fear for his life. He was not beaten, drowned or electrocuted. He didn't have to wake and go to work. He had zero responsibilities. Man, this dude had it rough. 2 Years of this 'living hell' brought on by none other than himself? I shudder at the thought. Way to trivialize........I find myself unable to not get you wrong. Pathetic.

It's just that I tire of the general consensus that Vick should have been hung or something, because of what he did. Again I'll refer to bull fighting in Mexico. It's completely legal and they treat those animals horribly. Then stab them repeatedly with spears until they die, and it's called a sport there.

Mexico and bull fighing. America and the beating to death of animals by horrific means. We accept neither, hence the legal ramifications against vick.

In case you've not had it brought to your attention; what is and is not acceptable in certain countries is what seperates the living from the walkng dead.

My family has owned/rescued APBT's all my life.

Vick is a dirt bag.

I would love to be thrown into a pit with him and show him the hell he put those dogs through.

I would love for DWare to severe his spine when we play Philthy...

Right on toughguy. Hang on those delusions, I'm sure it's real healthy for you to think you could kick Vick's butt.

The guy messed up and is trying to put his life back together, if you have to hate that then it's you I pity.

His mess up caused many innocent dogs their lives. As I've said, if I or anyone in a "normal" job would have done the same, none of us would have seen that job again. Do you really think I would have been allowed in a classroom again to teach children if I had done that?

And I don't think people are against him trying to put his life together again. People hate him for what he did and there are those who will never forgive him or think he deserves to play in the NFL. I am one of them!

the guy is scum, and ill say it to anybody. my best friend is an eagles fan, he told me he would get a vick jersey if he remains the starter. i asked him if he had no feelings about putting money in that dirt bags pocket. he said vick doesn't care what he does in his life so why should he care about what vick has done? now we go back a week to a convo in which i ask him why he doesn't watch jersey shore. he says he doesn't want to be part of the people that enable bags to get paid for being bags. needless to say i called him out on being a hypocrite.

the guy is a bunch of words.

My opinion: Forgive and move on. The man did his time. The past can't be changed. We live in a country that is a big believer in second chances. He's worked hard to make a new start. He's a marvel on the football field and deserves to be out there. I love my dog and hate what he did, but I have made mistakes too and know people can change.

Watched the great vick interview on fox and it seems like he's changed but i wish he didn't play for the eagles of all teams.

If he loses today everyone will jump off his bandwagon and i'll feel sorry for him.

What a pile of crap to call it a mistake. He committed those acts over a period of years. THAT WAS NOT A MISTAKE. It is part of his personality.

Meh. It's entirely possible that he could kick my butt. But, I guarantee you he would not be able to play football again after it's all said and done. Just because he is an NFL athlete does not mean crap.

The guy messed up and is trying to put his life back together, if you have to hate that then it's you I pity.

People like that cannot be rehabilitated. To be that evil, it's not something that people can just turn off.

He should never have been let back in the league...

Based on what ?

Um. Maybe because he is a convicted felon.

He doesn't deserve to be making millions of dollars. He had his chance.

Do you think you or I would be able to carry on with life as easily as he has after being convicted of his henious crime?

He is a piece of crap. Plain and simple. He belongs in Philly. If I had my way I'd nuke the whole cesspool of a city.

I guess I will address them all individually.

So as a felon you are not allowed to work ?

So there is a limit on his earnings based on his past ?

Yes, I do. Most people would only know about it because of star status (most of the people involved have money too).

I never said he was a good guy, and think he has a lot to prove before I will accept him. So he belongs in Philly, but not on the team ?

Funny how people can view dogs on equal level as humans. Or take it so personally about what Vick did. IMO, it's no different than how cattle is killed for food, and anyone that knows how that process goes cannot say it's any worse than how Vick & co. killed those dogs.

Yes they can, cattle are killed for food, those dogs were killed for entertainment. If he ate the canines afterwards you may have a point. But it hasn't come out yet so....

So true, Vick got more attention than when Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth killed a human.

Yet we kill as a society a lot more dogs than Vick ever met.

Wait, you mean the 6 billion people in the world have killed more dogs then Vick has ever encountered?

This revelation is making my head spin.......I need to sit down........could you get me a glass of water?
