Yeah, the Skins have sucked recently in the draft! They may not have had many picks but they have used them well. Sean Taylor, Chris Cooley, Carlos Rogers, Jason Campbell, Rocky McIntosh, Kedric Golston.

:laugh2: Sean Taylor had the worst year for a defensive back...ever

I wouldn't be trying to pimp him if I were you, and what the hell has McIntosh and Golston done?

:lmao: at Carlos 'burnt toast' Rogers

do you like being abused online?

I think it was posted on the other thread involving our possible trade with Denver. But what we've been hearing comes from a Washington Post writer.....name is Jason La Confora.

[FONT=Times New Roman, times, serif]"So, I still think there is a very good chance we see Bly come to DC, along with Denver's first-round pick, and second- and/or third-round pick, plus maybe a conditional late round pick, in exchange for the 6th overall pick."

Noone really knows whats being offered for sure yet, but thats the word on the street.

This presumes the Broncos are idiots...

Golston was a nice unexpected rotation guy on the DL but McIntosh performed as well as the other McIntoshes that have come thu the NFL...I sure you remember them...if not, see my point.

Are the Commanders trying to get back the Picks they traded away?, it's the only thing I can make of this because trading that pick means no Alan Branch and god knows they need help on the DL. Also, maybe they need a replacement for Dockery bad enough to do this trade.

this is my thinking. There isn't really anyone left out there to replace him with. IMO, we need to use a 2nd or 3rd (assuming a deal gets struck, just being hypothetical), on a guard. I will not feel comfortable going into next season with one of the backups we have now stepping in as a starter.

Maybe, just maybe, the Commanders can draft a good defensive lineman at pick #21. There are good players in this league selected outside of the top 10, you know?

This trade, if it goes through (fingers crossed), will give the Commanders an infusion of young talent, a solid corner with 3 or 4 good years left, and also the opportunity to get rid of the lone malcontent left on this team (Springs).

I'll go the MossBurner route, and name all the successful draft picks we have on the team

Julius Jones
Marion Barber
Pat Watkins
Bobby Carpenter
Bradie James
Jason Witten
Andre Gurode
Flozell Adams
Greg Ellis
Terrence Newman
Roy Williams
DeMarcus Ware
Kevin Burnett
Tony Fasano
Pat McQuistan
Jaque Reeves
Nate Jones

hey, we drafted all of them, so they are good

there are 53 players on a roster, I doubt 2 players is going to 'infuse' your team w/ young talent

and there's always a 50/50 chance that any player you select will turn out to be the next...well, you know

Carlos Rodgers

and Springs isn't a malcontent, he's just not playing the game to cover for your cap mismanagement, afterall, you guys gave him the contract in the 1st place, it's not like he held a gun to Danny boy's head

Who remembers the extremeskins thread about how Springs was so much better than Newman? I find it quite funny thinkin back to that now that all this is happening.

Washington's 6th overall=1600 points

Denver's picks:

21-800 points

56-340 points

70 (from Washington for TJ Duckett)-240 points

86-160 points

Total points=1540

So Denver would have to trade 4 draft picks to get to the number 6 overall

Or they could trade a 1st, 2nd and the 3rd they got from Washington plus Dre Bly (who based on the points in the trade from Detroit is valued at a 3rd round pick) to get Washington's 6th overall pick

Good for the Commanders because there needs to be an infusion of youth on the D. Denver will have a shot at an impact player, and if Peterson falls, would work perfect for them
