Not well.Didn't he play all of last year?
Well that's end of his career in Dallas. I guess we are drafting MLB in the first three rounds next year
Didn't he play all of last yearShould have never been drafted and definitely shouldn't have been extended.
LolNot well.
The team that Jimmy Johnson built had much strength from other team cast offs and unknowns in the draft...Sean Lee, Jaylon and then LVE. Three guys who if had stayed full health, probably be in ROH talks. But probably wouldn't have dropped to us in draft if full health. Probably need to stop risking it on such a high body impact position.
Seriously.I mean we say that but this is their life. He's probably what? 26 or 27 years old? Football has probably been apart of his life for the majority of those years. I get how it's hard to let go. But neck and back issues aren't a joke.
We have less depth than people realize. Could see the team going south next year if more of the wrong things happen.Fred and now LVE lost due to genetic disorders. Obviously different cases but both end with productive former first round picks being forced off the roster prematurely.
LB is the clear target in round 1 now. Supersedes our need at OL imo. Take an OT in round 2…..
BTW, a little bit off-topic, but I caught this fan made video the other day and I think it’s a great take on linebackers. It’s about Jimmy‘s defensive philosophies which I think have been a big influence on how the Cowboys have looked at the position since. Been while since I‘ve seen something that reminded me how good Ken Norton was before they decided not to pay for him. I know that wasn’t a Jimmy pick, but the video maker shows some of his unheralded plays in 92 Playoffs that started the dynasty.
A neck injury ended Michael Irvin's career and took him out of a Philadelphia game in progress to the cheers of their fans!!No, wait until you specialize in neck injuries before looking like a fool.
Yeah and you just hope he's mature enough to have that discussion. At that age you feel you are invincible. He already made his dream happen. Don't let it kill you.Seriously.
I know it will be difficult, but you can't put a price on your health.
Fact!Yeah and you just hope he's mature enough to have that discussion. At that age you feel you are invincible. He already made his dream happen. Don't let it kill you.
Well, go ahead and step up with the specifics of the medical then. Otherwise bias only is being spewed about.foolish me, I’ll let you know when I graduate MD…. I’ll finally be allowed to discuss LVEs injury/IR status
Not even a rehab member would play around with those items...lol.No, wait until you specialize in neck injuries before looking like a fool.
Not if one is committed in the now to that very lifestyle. There is a lot of investment in that player's life to the decision to move on. That is his and the team's discussion from there.Yep,
There is more to life than football.
A lot more.
Overshown, Clark - injury draft drops. Harper - 6th round.Overshown
Clark
Harper
Cox
Drafted 4 in the last 3 drafts and technically Parsons was a LB also.
Norton was as tough as his daddy. Wish they would have kept him longer. That was when a million dollars was not done in Dallas. After losing Norton in free agency, that policy adopted and changed as to value.
