Lets all be clear here, even if some how they do draft Manziel, do you expect Ginger to do anything other than shoehorn him into the same old stale plays ?

Are you kidding? Tony Romo is the problem in Dallas! Replace him with someone who's young and has potential and...uh...a lot of cockiness and this team is Super Bowl bound, baby!

He'll will this team to victory! He'll score 50 a game (he'll have to) and mouth off while doing it! Cause he's a winner!

I think Jerry should pull a Mike Ditka! The whole draft for Johnny the Savior! Wooooooooohoooooo!

Call me a bad fan all you want but I wish we lost 2 or 3 more games last year and never gave Romo that albatross of a contract. If we let Romo play out his contract, we'd be in a better position to turn the page on this aged loser core. It just makes too much sense to have Manziel wearing the star. The guy was born to lead this specific team back to the Super Bowl.

Okay, your a bad fan.

Cowboy fans need to show their support for our QB.

Manziel is not going to the Cowboys, quit living a pipe dream, Romo will be around for a few more years and I will be rooting for the guy all along the way.

I could see Jerry pulling something really stupid out of his hat on draft day to get this guy.

I was born on the day we beat the Broncos in Super Bowl 12, and grew up a life long Cowboys fan. Does that mean I'm qualified to be the QB?

He's also throwing out statements about having a chip if Houston doesn't take him #1 overall, I think him and his agent are throwing things out there to increase his draft stock and test the waters.

I'd take him if he's there at our spot but no moving, and I'd still have reservations. I would rather take the biggest/meanest DT at our spot.

If it bothers you that much, go root for Houston if/when they draft him.

if they are even slightly considering this, then there is zero hope for this franchise...not only would it be foolish to give up any resources for a guy that at best is a back up for 3 years (most of his rookie contract), but I just don't see him doing well in the NFL....JUST SAY NO!

Oh my..

Jerrah and Steven..

Please don't read this thread.

Saying he's a Cowboys fan like that is like throwing gasoline on a fire.

Jerrah is going to lose sleep over this.

I would trade 2 #1's right now and I love Romo and I also know that we need Def as a priority, but Johnny Football would be soooo cool in a Cowboys uniform.

What games did you watch, kid has a great arm and is extremely accurate.

Do you have a link of these weak throws? Thought so.

His deep out (hardest NFL throw) is atrocious and he throws rainbows on 9 routes. That's evident in every game.

His arm is better than some of you are giving him credit for.

Still, yes, it would take a coach smart enough to tailor the offense to his strengths. He'll need a coach who will get him out of the pocket (like Russell Wilson), not just call plays like he's Troy Aikman.

Which unfortunately is exactly what Garrett would do.

Yet he wins games on the biggest stage in the best conference.

And he's already used to playing with a crappy defense so he's ready for this job.

Ok, so he's played with a "crappy defense", but what about a historically bad passing defense? :D

I think the Texans weigh their trade options. If some team wants to give up a lot they move down but otherwise I can see them drafting him.

He won't fall to us, so moot point.

Drew Brees and Russell WilIson are too small also :)
