I think Washington is a good landing spot. Nothing is certain with cousins at the moment and manziel already deleted twitter. As much as it hurts me to admit, manziel is probably better than colt McCoy.

Skins aren't known for signing troubled head cases. Other teams are, but not ours. No way we even bring the dude in for a workout. I think we'll get a long term deal done with #8.

No. The kid is absolutely wreckless on the field. That might work in college, but it absolutely will not work in the pros where everyone is a ball-hawk in comparison to the bottom 90% of college players.

Didn't you read the part where he deleted twitter? That's commitment right there. That's what Washington needs.

That's not true. Does haynesworth ring a bell?

No Twitter account you say? Well, all to hell Betsy. Screw Trump and his Twitter account, Manziel for President!

Let's not go that far.

Despite the fact I am being slightly sarcastic about deleting twitter, I am 100% serious that it's a big deal.

You have to remember manziel is a milenial and social media plays a big role for him like any other milenial. Milenials love their social media so much that they are on multiple social media platforms. The fact that he removed himself from one of those platforms is a big deal and shows he's more committed now than he was a year ago. Even if you want to poke fun at manziel, denying that removing himself from one of the biggest distractions ever created shows growth and maybe a future.

What would be the benefit?

In my opinion, when you have a veteran starting QB you should have a young backup QB. When you have a young starting QB, you should have a veteran backup QB.

Dallas has a young starter in Dak. I don't see a benefit in having an inexperienced backup such as Manziel. Dallas needs someone who can be prepared with very few reps in practice. Someone who has enough experience to give the defense some good looks while running the scout team. Manziel can't do those things especially after being away from the NFL for a season.

Vet min plus incentives is all we should pay him.

Its ridiculous he thinks he's worth 25 million a year.

Are you talking about Manziel or Cousins? I don't think Manziel believes he will get 2.5 million let alone 25

edit: I guess you do mean Cousins, it's ridiculous to believe a starting QB would make the vet minimum.

Cousins. Not ridiculous if he's a team player and wants the Lombardi.
