Marty B says start a petition for WR Marshall

I'm not the one saying it, during a episode of the Lunchbreak they said it this week.
They said "if Marshall ended up in Dallas, he would behave much better" and they listed reasons why, and came to the conclusion that McDaniels is an idiot.

Uh, yeah, you did say it. No where in your post did you say so and so said...you said it like it was what you thought.

Well I meant to post im not the only one saying it.

I agree Marshall would be different in Dallas

With a solid OL heavy draft, B. Marshall could be our Charles Haley.

You can keep Marshall. The Cowboys don't need him.

I'll take Ryan Clady.

Talk to me about that.

:lmao2:no no no. You don't even know.

What don't I know? This team is built to win NOW. Heck, Romo is going to be 30 years old in April. With solid OL draft picks, I don't see many glaring weaknesses on our team. Marshall could put us over the top because RW sure isn't..

Lining up ten people is beneficial over RW.

I know history says otherwise, its just a gut feeling.

Gut feeling.

When confounded by every piece of evidence pointing against what you want to happen, why not let your last meal make the decision?

:laugh1: Im seriously laughing

Im all for getting Marshall as long as we get rid of Bennett. What a dumb***.

Dont laugh, Tony Scheffler is not exactly on McDaniels good side either. If Jerry ever had a brain fart and considered this I would be willing to bet Bennett would be on the Broncos short list.

well Roy Williams has a huge contract and your boy Miles is about to get one of his own. no more money left for another big contract for a wr.

Imagine if Bennett suggests this to Jerry, and Jerry says hell look into it. Calls up McDaniels and the convo goes like this....

"Yeah we are looking into trading him, we would want a 2nd round pick and Martellus Bennett"

Jerry "Alright, we can accept that"

5 minutes later, Jerry calls in Marty.
"hey thanks for the suggestion, were trading for Brandon"
"Thats great thanks Jerry!"
"We only had to give up a 2nd round pick and you"
"what the ****?"
:laugh1:

What don't you know? So much it is truly laughable. Im not even going to argue with you that bringing in Marshall is a bad idea, there is no point, you and A2R can go with your "guts" on that:rolleyes:, brilliant.

But to compare Marshall to Haley as the final piece? Are you serious?

1) Charles Haley had 6 years of experience before he came here, Marshall has 3 years of off and on experience.

2) Haley had been on Super Bowl teams before and knew what kind of hard work and mindset it took to get there (and this was a large part of what he contributed), Marshall could not tell you how to get to the Superbowl with a map, he has no idea at all.

3) Haley had a reputation as a solid, every down, play his guts out type player, Marshall is pretty close to the exact opposite.

Your claim that Marshall can some how come in here and show this team how to get to the super bowl is beyond absurd.

B. Marshall's statistics the past 3 seasons:

2009: 101 rec. 1,120 yards 10 TDs
2008: 104 rec. 1,265 yards 6 TDs
2007: 102 rec. 1,325 yards 7 TDs

Off and on experience? The dude has been a top ten WR in the league the past three years. Off and on my you know what. Haley was a talented NUTJOB that didn't bring ANY team chemistry to the Cowboys, he just gave us that legit pass-rusher Dallas was lacking.

The Cowboys have a solid WR in Austin, but after that you NEVER know who's going to show up week in and week out.

And thanks for reading all of my post; I said if the Cowboys have a SOLID OL DRAFT, Marshall could put us over the top.

And also, don't ever say "mindset" and "Charles Haley" in the same sentence. He came from the same planet Marty B came from. The dude was/is a nut.

Instead, lets start a petition requiring Bennett to grow up and learn the playbook. Hmmm?
