I used to follow him on Twitter and stopped after his act became tiresome.
Dallas knew what they were getting. Some posters that remember him from A&M say this is typical. I think it was Ciskowski's warning in the war room that draft day, "You'll have to keep your foot on his throat." Something like that.
I follow Jason Williams, and he sounds about as idiotic as Bennett.

I know Martellus didn't do all of those things, and that many of the things that I listed are more serious than what Martellus did, but the excuse gets used just the same for people who do those things and others just as bad or worse.

Wonder how long people will give the guy to "grow up".
I can imagine it now, Marty B will again fail to think things through and you'll have posters jumping in:
"He's only 28, you tell me what 28 year old man isn't like a big kid inside".
I've given the benefit of the doubt plenty of times but I know people who are younger and far more mature. It's just not what he wants to be.
They guy is just an idiot. Plain and simple. All the talent in the world and none of the brains to go with it. If there is a more physically gifted and less intelligent and hard working player in the league I beg someone to show him to me.
It's probably a good thing his brains are holding him back. If he was a real star, he'd be the type of player nobody wants on this team. Completely full of himself and absolutely uninterested in practicing. He'd be the Clinton Portis of Tight Ends.
I tell you one thing though. Not that I know from personal experience but Jerry Jones puts out a great effort to help disadvantaged people. The man is very involved with the Salvation Army and by all appearances seems to be a caring and genuine person when it comes to helping out the less fortunate. If Martellus goes pissing on that image too much, I think you'll see Jerry's feathers ruffled big times.
