Garrard is an above average QB..he had no line and ZERO offensive talent, other than Mojo. At least Garrard has won a playoff game.

I don't have anything to say to you right now. Ill make sure you receive my message when I do have something to say to you.....it will look something like this.......

3-1 :laugh2:

As long as it's for a minimal deal, maybe with bonuses to be earned, I wouldn't have a problem with Dallas bringing him in.

I would have a problem if the Cowboys were definitely going to be depending on him being a starting receiver. He has to be a luxury that you can get rid of at the drop of the hat if necessary until he proves that drugs are not going to be an ongoing problem.

On the bright side, Calvin Hill gets to keep his job. He was probably worried on who he was going to counsel. All the bad apples are gone. :)

Oh God, not this again. If only he were as good as some people make him out to be.

I hope not... otherwise it'd make him look like even more the AH for releasing Quincy Carter.

Unless it wasn't QC's performance, drugs and maybe he just didn't want a black QB.

How in god's name is he not going to be suspended? Didn't one of our coached get 5 games for taking a banned substance that was helping him cope with diabetes? Did I miss something?

...and I'd throw up if we took Jones. Then I'd bottle it and send it to Jerry.

I have only one thing to say to that... :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

I wouldn't be interested in him, at all, and I too am very, very, very surprised that he's not getting a suspension. This not going to help Goodell when teams look around and see that he's not very consistent in his punishments of players.

I think the housecleaning done by Dallas gets misinterpreted.

Jerry Jones did not get rid of players who simply had trouble with the law (see the signing of Gerald Sensabaugh), he got rid of players whose attitudes were troubling to the team.

The idea was to change the atmosphere by letting those who were not good team players go.

'six, I must bow before your infinite wisdom.

You have been brilliant in this thread.

First, in clarifying Jones' transgressions, and second in further clarifying the cleanup job that Jerry Jones has done within this organization.

It hasn't been about cleaning up the off-field issues, otherwise Owens would still be here, along with Ellis.

It's been about creating a better locker room.

And that's never been one of Matt Jones' issues.

In fact, the guy wouldn't say $#!* if he had a mouthful.

Jones' problems included not working hard enough, followed by the cocaine arrest.

Judging by last season's production, he's moved on from the lazy stage. And he knows better than anyone that his next mistake is his last. It seemed to motivate him last year, and should do the same thing this season.

Taking a look at this team's current receiving corps, I would take the chance and sign him before someone else does.

Matt Jones not being suspended further proves my own personal theory to myself about Roger Gooddell.

matt jones would be a excellent addition to this football team.

if he gets his head right that is.

austin and hurd have proven to be injury prone.

it would be nice to have jones here if austin goes down again.

jones
williams
bennett

those three would be a defensive coordinator's nightmare in the red zone.

I'd go a step further.

Tell me that last time in a season that either Roy Williams or Stanback haven't missed time?

If Roy Williams suffers an injury (and there's a pattern), this team is in real trouble at receiver.

Randy Moss, Chris Carter, Micheal Irvin. I'm just sayin. MJ's last incident was only alcohol related. Patriots lookin real smart right now if you ask me.

No need for a welcome, ive been lurking for awhile now.
