A fan wanting to trade for a washed up Matt Ryan who tossed three INT‘s against the Cowboys in a 54-19 blowout and ended up getting benched during the season to replace Dak? :facepalm:

Ryan was 4-7-1 this season, losing his last four starts. You call that keeping you going? Lol

I think the point of this thread is an option if the Cowboys are moving on from Dak. But i think I'd want better than two 6th round picks.

I don't know why people think Dak's no trade clause is a big deal. If you tell him he will sit on bench he will waive the no trade clause in a heart beat. The biggest problem with trading Dak is the cap hit. But as long as the Cowboys are willing to take the hit and play Rush or a rookie with low cap hit for next two years then they can move on from Dak sooner than later. I'm all for moving on from Dak ASAP.

Only thing is -- Ryan has been sacked, hit, and beaten up his last 5 seasons playing (most I believe in the league over that time span - with Russell Wilson 2nd), I think the cumulative toll on his motor skills\ physical ability to deliver quality downfield throws -- although Ryan has always been the player to do athletic endeavors (along with his wife) to keep in shape during his offseason.
But one thing you can take to the bank ...Matt Ryan is the consummate professional in terms of respecting his teammates, the coaching staff, the media, and fans.
