Mavs/Heat Finals thread

I can't believe I am saying this being a Spurs Fan, but I hope the mavs win the series. I can't stand the heat and the whole drama they bring.

German engineering!

Miami falling in love with the three pointer was going to burn them sooner or later and it burned them bad in game 2. I would look for plenty of drives and foul shots for Miami the next game.

I don't think any team not named the Yankees has ever been more unanimously hated by American sports fans

It's because of their stupid party they threw before any of them had won shiat. Wade's the only one with any hardware and he only has one. That and the media regurgitating the "Taking his talents to South Beach!!!" line and always referring to the Heat as the big 3. They also have their own subsection in the NBA section of ESPN referred to as the "Heat Index". That's just dumb. Not to mention their attitudes SUUCK. Lebron is one of the most athletically gifted players to ever play the game but I don't think he'll sniff Jordan or Kobe's championships because he's an attention *****.

I especially liked how we came back to beat them after their gloating in front of our bench. Maybe you should have watched the Thunder series before you did that Heat. Durant did the Rodgers belt move in game 4 of the Western Conference Finals and look what happened. Don't taunt the Mavs son.

It's not like they just gloat either it looks more like a world premiere of an Nsync video or something.

if the heat never win a title as currently constructed (wade, bosh, james) then all atheist will convert, because it will be unequivocal proof there is a god

Somewhere, I'm sure that Bennett Salvatore was blowing a whistle!

Quote from Phil Jackson...
"In that Miami series, [Cuban] definitely had it coming that time," Jackson told reporters before the Mavericks-Lakers game on March 12, 2011. "But I think he's toned it down in the last few years. I think that Miami Finals really was a tough one to swallow. I think [Dwyane] Wade averaged about 25 foul shots a game after the second game and you couldn't even touch him. That was really tough for him to swallow and I think he understood that there's sort of a pecking order in this league and you need to keep your mouth shut at times."

Amazing that it was so well known around the league that they blew those whistles for fake fouls on purpose. Wade could have broke wind and gone to the line in that series. With 3 out the 4 Heat victories coming by 3 points or less, it is clear that the Mavs would have won that series going away.

Oh well, time to move on...again.

I'm enjoying this playoff run a lot but part of me can't wait for it to come to an end so i can have my nights back for sleep.
Football season is pretty easy, it's one night a week, i go tired to work Monday (some times Tuesday) and that's it. This is every other night for over a month now and it's really starting to wear me out

That was the correct mindset when Mark Cuban would take on his boisterous, animated-self. He has been rather quiet lately in the media. Let's see the result. ;)

I'm sure everyone has seen this stat already, but....

All 11 times the finals have been tied at 1-1 since they started the 2-3-2 format, the winner of game 3 has gone on to win the series.
