It’s unfortunate that you can’t deal with the truth.really, he hung himself!!!
how so. the 4-2 start?
these are already failed narratives like the alleged RZ issues ,red zone issues amongst all the teams have been down this year SO FAR...
plus, we have proof been floating around that MM offense through the first 6 games is on par with the last 2 seasons with KMs offense through 6 games who BTW we beat up pretty bad.. the issue here is the small sample size as other rankings for total offense and offensive coordinators have been only after six games...
so how so??
he hung himself after a 4-2 start with 11left?? SMFH brah , that's false! plenty of time to make adjustments, you all fools act like MM is 2-4 vs 4-2 and ONE game out of the top records and the divsion ..umm ok..sure its terrible, NOT!
even though the AZ game missing 3 PB OL with a bad defense and 9er game not one phase played or coached well that game. next busted narrative.
There are problems on this team that are Football 101. They make mistakes mediocre coached college teams don't.Everything is easy from the couch.
Parcells won nothing here. He was past his prime. How soon we forget. The ONLY right Coach for the Cowboys was Bill Parcells. Someone who can actually overpower the Owner/GM and demands his respect. Even Jimmy couldn't do it in the end.
And he’s clearly sinking. He is in control of his own fate, sink or swim with Quinn waiting if things go sour. Forget about his scheme, the issue is more of a lack of a running game, same issue with Moore the last two seasons. Very few qb’s succeed being one dimensional
I think he deserves this season to turn things around and prove himself. But the click is ticking.I agree with this point. imo I do think if he gets us back to the post season and we win 10,11,12 games again he’ll be back. I think he’ll be able to convince ownership he just needed a year to work out the “kinks”.
Ultimately if he is let go for anything short of the nfc championship game it will be his desire to call plays that was his demise however
Why are you even here then?Everything is easy from the couch.
Can’t even add to that. Perfectly said. There's only one reason why MM is the HC for the Cowboys - he was willing to be another puppet. He also wanted to get a pay check, but to do that he had to toss his dignity out the door and bow to Jerry. He was hired rather quickly and there can't be any other explanation for it.
The 'right head coach' for this team is years away from being hired. Or I should say, that person won't be coming to Dallas while Jerry is still alive. And until that inevitable day comes we will have to tolerate the likes of MM for a HC.
Consistently leading the league in penalties are just one example of extremely poor coaching. This has been a ongoing issue during his tenure in Dallas.he hung himself after a 4-2 start with 11left?? SMFH brah , that's false! plenty of time to make adjustments
No, these penalties have been a long ongoing issue even before MM. This is an organizational problem.Consistently leading the league in penalties are just one example of extremely poor coaching. This has been a ongoing issue during his tenure in Dallas.
If there is plenty of time to make adjustments, how many more years does he need to fix this problem?
He thought it was a good idea to have his starting qb be the holder. Only team in the league doing that at the time.Parcells won nothing here. He was past his prime. How soon we forget.
They got rid of Cooper and Collins. They were held accountable. The way this organization is run players are only accountable to people with the last name Jones. Namely Jerry and Stephen Jones. It matters not if McCarthy puts his foot down or discipline the player or players by benching them, their salary, and/or draft status will make Jerry override the HC.
You could put Landry, Jimmy Johnson, Bill Walsh, the Hoodie or whomever in place, players having a direct line to ownership will always be a problem in Dallas. Lack of player accountability will always be a problem in Dallas.
Micromanaging???? Jerry doesn’t even manage and the only biases are the stand pat and see what happens.Yeppir, micromanage the future upon biased attitude....
I doubt their HC could have benched them due to penalties or bad play. They were shipped out due to their cap hit "commensurate with production" as Jerry told us all. They got rid of Cooper and Collins. They were held accountable.
We're 4-2. It's not that bad. There are problems on this team that are Football 101. They make mistakes mediocre coached college teams don't.
For example, when you take motion out of the offense to help prevent pre-snap penalties, there is a problem.
Who are you?Why are you even here then?
No, not true...he made it to two playoff seasons on a bankrupted team.Parcells won nothing here. He was past his prime. How soon we forget.
Seriously! Regular season wins don’t mean nearly as much when some Of us already see us not getting anywhere in the playoffs….this team is missing things and it’s obvious…..another year of not getting to the SB, 95 is a lifetime ago now. It's unfortunate that some fans actually enjoy regular season wins more than post season wins. These are also the same 'fans' who like flashy stats more than wins.
