Why would he go with McCarthy? Will Lance go with McCarthy? Will he sign with Dallas? Will he sign with a different team? If isn't hard to figure out, pick 1.
Just drove by a Dairy Queen. Had to pull over.
Inconsolable.
I was talking about Lance?Cowboys FAs will have Quinn and McCarthy to sign with, so those honest offers will lead to a repeat of last offseason.
i get it and the control is an issue but the salary is not as bad as it gets made to be...not the best but also not the worst in the league.Addiitonally i would not underestimate the value of the visibility that the HC of the cowboys gets. Its not the job it was 20 years ago, esp bc the jones have gotten way worse, but its still very appealingI think a coach would be more concerned with the salary in their contract and the actual control they have over ‘their team’.
Both are sorely lacking in Dallas.
Lance turned down the Cowboys offer 3 weeks ago. I was wondering if he was waiting to see what happens with McCarthy. Why would he go with McCarthy?
McCarthy was blindsided by the trade in the first place. LOL.
He will either sign here to be the backup because Rush is gone, or he signs somewhere else to be a backup.
But, to be fair, he knows he has to be better and looks forward to proving you wrong.Dallas, wont be winning anytime soon.
At least Chicago has rookie Caleb Williams. Even Jax has Trevor FWIW. We have a soon to be 10 yr vet who has only ever won 2 wildcard games.
I read that McCarthy - a Super Bowl winning coach - was paid $6 million last year. While others were making this:i get it and the control is an issue but the salary is not as bad as it gets made to be...not the best but also not the worst in the league.Addiitonally i would not underestimate the value of the visibility that the HC of the cowboys gets. Jared Goff was the same draft class at Dak.So.........the next coach is going to maximize Daks' ability after 10 years or so!? Just sit back and think about that ridiculous comment.
according to the data i am looking at he was paid as the 15th highest NFL coach this year - right in the middle. Not fair to compare other leagues....like i said, not the best but also not the worst....right in the middle.I read that McCarthy - a Super Bowl winning coach - was paid $6 million last year. Heck, even the Seahawks first-year head coach made more than McCarthy.
That’s just wrong.
Well Goff isnt the one with only 2 wildcard winsJared Goff was the same draft class at Dak.
Take a pill, Sick...he is not coming to Dallas.S-A-N-D-E-R-S
12 and 5 was terrible?Thank God. Terrible hire to begin with.
Goff was always better than Dak and always will be.Jared Goff was the same draft class at Dak.
