Those reviews were only after a 3-0 and 6-1 starts . Never near the end of season .

We have been nothing more than front runners a few seasons at best.

Even the two seasons where we had home field this era we weren’t heavily predicted to win it all.

Cowboys continue to be over hyped and promoted.

I'm just a fan who supports the team, I see the talent that this team has and while there are areas like DT that is a concern as well as changes on OL I still see the talent on this team that gives them a chance to win. As for challenge of making the SB, our odds are not as good as some but better than others. Looking at odds last season Cinn was the worst odds in the league at Cincinnati Bengals 200-1. Clearly I will not sit around here claiming we have no chance at all, if you feel that way then that is how you feel but I don't share that view

No you don't win championship in training camp or 1st half of the season, you could post the best record in the NFL as GB and Tampa did and that does not ensure you of winning it all. Clearly you want to go into post season playing quality football but in a 1 game winner moves on and loser goes home there are no sure things. Should help Elliott and the running game if read option is part of the game. It's hard to run between the tackles when defenses are playing the box tight because they don't fear the outside threat. That's partly Kellen's fault for not running Elliott more outside (which he did a little better later in the season), Elliott's fault for not being a major outside threat and Kellen's fault again for not creating pressure on the defense to not pinch down on the inside runs (there are other ways he could have done that without running Prescott).

So, does this mean the designed RPO is back in the Cowboy's offensive attack? It was quite obvious last year that option had been removed from the playbook.
