McCarthy's days are numbered

Unless Jerry swoops in and signs him to a huge guaranteed contract to reaffirm his faith in him.

fire all the coaches you want…. Jerry Jones still owns the team and nothing will improve. He is an incompetent old man who makes awful organizational decisions.
Exactly. Firing Mike means nothing.

Have to admit that fake punt was cute though.

:lmao:

Earlier in the season I thought Mike would finish off the season and be let go.

However, I would not be shocked if they let him go early.

Either way I think the dance of who they will pick as next head coach is probably in the early stages.

I imagine there will be communications of possible coaching candidates starting.

It doesn't matter if he is fired. This team is done.

Jerry won't fire him. He's in the last year of his contract. Same thing he did with Garrett.

They aren't making the playoffs with or without him. The next coach is not on the staff. Jerry really has no incentive to fire him at this point.
I agree.

Absolutely agree.

Firing Big Mac could be a bad thing for this franchise. It allows Zimmer to slide into the interim head coach. Maybe he squeaks out a win or two. Then we all know next year Jerry would just be comfortable with that. "Well, since you're here.".

I remember when they Hired McCarthy and he talked about all the algorithims and stat tracking odds he used. This team in this atmosphere needs a disciplinarian not the guy off a Beautiful Mind.

No coach would stand a chance with Dak has his "franchise" QB.
