Earlier in the season I thought Mike would finish off the season and be let go.

However, I would not be shocked if they let him go early.

Either way I think the dance of who they will pick as next head coach is probably in the early stages.

I imagine there will be communications of possible coaching candidates starting.
Agree. Those two bonehead calls should have him sacked. Just pick an interim coach for the rest of the season.

Not gonna happen. Jerry needs a face for this dumpster fire. He already said that he brought in the players but it’s time to coach them up. MM is gonna earn his money now.

and promote who as interim HC ? .... Mike Zimmer ? .... Al Harris ?

Jerry true to his word ( aside from Wade Phillips to heir apparent Jason Garrett) . i don't see Jerry firing his current HC until after the season.
and like Garrett, it's just an expiring contract to which Jerry definitely will not renew.

- Question is who would be the most qualifying HC candidate(s) out there to replace McCarthy ..?

- Me thinks Jerry is gonna go after a highly regarded offensive mind to re-capture, re-handle high paid Dak Prescott

- That's what Jerry wanted with Jason Garrett ... that's what Jerry wanted with Kellen Moore ....that's what he thought he had with McCarthy
and that's what Jerry is gonna seek with with the next HC he hires next...

McCarthy is being straight-up sabotaged this year. No chance of success. I'd love to see Mike smash his tablet right over Jerry's head.

The Joneses have sold-out every single football employee of the franchise in ruthless, cynical, crackpot, despotic fashion.

The "firm" is just an investment vehicle for Jerry. A wildly successful one, at that. However, the hired help would like to actually win ballgames - that being the pretense under which they were brought aboard, and have staked their individual reputations.

Agree.

the Bye would have been the best time to make the change though.

Jerry doesn't like paying people for nothing. The one time he fired Wade, he had his so-called young genius already on staff in Garrett. They don't have anyone on this staff they want to promote as a long term replacement. I doubt they fire MM.

And Mike m sabotaged himself in many ways. Poor play calling and prep
