News: McFadden broke elbow in home accident *Update post 169*

I guess I don't get all the handwringing about this. He will be back probably before the preseason begins.

So many people writing DMC off for an unproven rookie. Many great college backs never pan out in the NFL. Prob an even higher percentage of Big 10 backs don't perform up to expectations. We better hope McFadden is back and ready for opening day.

SJ is smart for keeping his running backs. This team is snake biten and SJ know it. This team needs depth real bad.

Amazing. The injury prone McFadden goes down again. How he lasted the entire year last year with all those carries is a miracle.

So who were all those guys last year telling us that McFadden was just fine at RB?

The good news for him is that it has nothing to do with his lower body. That's been the main issue with his past injuries: pulled hamstring, sprained ankle, high ankle sprain, lis franc, torn miniscus and turf toe. Although he did miss time with a sprained shoulder and a fractured orbit bone.

Perhaps, but there is no way to know that. I personally think you would have gotten better then that. Heck, his contract for a year is worth more then that.

Did he break a tackle last year? I don't recall.

He ran through huge holes.

So who do you like on this team?

Offense: Romo, entire Oline (Free is acceptable as worst one), Dez is great (but cant stand his immaturity), Zeke, Morris, Beasley, Witten.

Defense: Lawrence, Lee (but injury prone), Jones has done nothing to make me dislike him. Crawford has been a disappointment and is over paid.

Coaching: Hate Garret. Cant say that I am tickled about anyone in particular

FO: McClay, Jerry is one of the worst GM's in the NFL.

Actually, it's also a case for why you do. Had you traded DMac earlier, you would have gotten value for him and he would now be another teams problem. Just saying.

So now he is a problem? He'll be back from injury in time for most of training camp and start the season. Or do you just not believe in keeping 1K+ yard runners? Funny how you only see his value as trade bait and not as a contributor. Just saying.

For my money, this is perfect. It will all but assure that the transition fully to Zeke happens sooner then later.
