McFadden vs Morris

In 2010, McFadden ran for 1,157 yards with a 5.2 YPC. What rushing "averages" under Cassel & Co. were better than those numbers?

McFadden's most productive game last season of 152 yards, averaging 5.2 a carry came with Cassel at QB. McFadden had a 12.3 rushing average vs Green Bay with Cassel at QB. McFadden had a 5.2 and 7.7 rushing average vs Buffalo and Washington with Kellen Moore at QB. The best rushing average McFadden had with Romo last season was 4.4. Chew on that!

You're the one who's unhinged blaming our QB situation for why McFadden wasn't better. Did Barry Sanders QB situation hurt his production? Did being stuck with Christian Ponder in 2011 keep Adrian Peterson from rushing for almost 2100 yards? Chew on that!

Oh, you mean when Christian Ponder threw for 18 TDs/12 INTs, 62%, and an 81.2 QBR?
Or, are you talking about when Barry Sanders was playing with Scott Mitchell when he was throwing for 4,000+ yards, 30+ TDs and had an All-Pro receiver in Herman Moore?

Yeah, it's clear to me you don't understand how inept of a QB Matt Cassel was.

Answer the question little one.

What rushing "averages" did McFadden have last year that were better than 2010 as you claim?

C'mon Mr. Misspoken...quit running.
Why are you worried or talking about what Mcfadden did in 2010? Almost 7 years ago. He was going into his 3rd year and was much younger.

Is it possible his stats aren't as good cause he is much older?

You know Emmitt was winning superbowls in his first 3-6 years in the league.....none after 8 years. Even the best fall off after so many years and McFadden wasn't that great to begin with. His best season is 1200 yards rushing and 7 tds.......Morris beat that his rookie year

You would take ponder over Cassel haha

I answered the question and never compared his rushing "averages" from 2010 with last season you just can't comprehend. Even a jr high education is all you need to understand this. The only one who'll be running is you when I get through. lol I said McFadden's best rushing averages last season came with Cassel and Kellen Moore at QB.

Not only that but 2010 was almost 7 years ago when he was in his prime. Not sure what Caly trying to say talking about years ago with a RB

Loool, how freeeeakin' pathetic.

You went back and changed your post after you saw, once again, you were talking out your rear.

Great point.

He's the one that brought up McFadden from 2010, but I'm sure he'll go back to that post and try to erase what he originally wrote too.

Didn't read the whole conversation but running backs been in the league 8 years start to regress. His speed has most certain went down, mainly from injuries but also age.

The thing is....well in my view...if we didn't have so many options at RB then keeping Mcfadden is ok. The fact we have 5 someone has to be out and McFadden for tons of reasons is the odd man.

You think those numbers by Ponder are winning numbers for an NFL QB? Lol By the way you forgot to mention Ponders stellar 2935 passing yards and his 5 lost fumbles that season. He was so good he got dumped...NEXT! As for Scott Mitchell are you serious? LOL He had one good season. Sanders was stuck with several scrubs at QB over the years and still produced. He put up 1470 yards with Rodney Peete and the legendary Bob Gagliano. He put up 1548 yards with Erik Kramer as his QB. Sanders had a 2000 yard season despite Scott Mitchell having a mediocre at best season with a 79.6 passer rating. Chew on that!

I like McFadden however I think Morris would be a better complimentary RB to Zeke.

You are presenting a false binary choice. There is no reason whatsoever Dallas doesn't keep both beyond your belief 1 absolutely has to be released.
Tell You what go back 6 pages and read the comments, once you catch up let me know and we can talk football.....just a hint it's about 5 running backs not 2

Neither Morris or McFadden play special teams and obviously Zeke won't be asked to. They won't keep 3 RBs that don't play STs.

Lol, smh.

You can't seriously be this dense?

The point is the QB play from Ponder and Campbell's were infinitely better compartively than what Matt Cassel did last year.

You're the only Cowboy fan that seems to think Matt Cassel played like an All Pro last year.

I didn't change my post you're becoming desperate now. Lol Got you right where I want you. :D

You absolutely did change your post, lol. You're more interested in trying to appear right than being intellectually honest, but that's par for the course for you.
