It will be interesting to see how much more Murray gets? a few million? more guaranteed money?

And if its somewhat close to what Dallas was offering, did Dallas get a chance to match it? Cant wait for this to be done, they keep saying sometime tonight...??? but i am not holding my breath.

If i were to bet on what is going to happen.

Murray is gone. we get spiller or an equivalent and draft one or two. and then platoon...which isnt exactly a bad thing....

But i would really like to see DM back.

I don't understand why the iggles are interested in him anyway. Didn't they just sign Mathews? Are they hedging their bet by signing two injury-prone RB's in case one goes down??

I've given Kelly the benefit of the doubt more than most around here, but I'm starting to think he doesn't have a flipping clue what he is doing. Running off Shady McCoy just to sign Matthews and Murray for more money, all while taking on huge salary for Sam bleeping Bradford and letting the last WR on your roster worth a flip walk away is just mind-boggling. If there is a plan here, I don't know what it is.

He is working hard to create this market for himself. It's difficult for me seeing the Eagles bowl him over with an offer given their needs in other areas. I guess the question becomes, at what point does this become more personal and less business with DeMarco. Or, hypothetically, if Dallas is stopping at 6 per, is it possible he discounts his services to a divisional rival just to prove a point?

I could go either way on his return, so long as we stay the course and refuse to bid against ourselves. For Murray's sake, I just hope this is another attempt at leveraging.

I hope the Cowboys don't get into a bidding war with the Eagles. If he wants more than we are willing to pay, then shake his hand, thank him for his service and let him walk. Use the money to improve the overall quality of the team, especially on the defensive side.
