Merrill Hodge just called RW out on ESPN

Yay for the fans finding a new player to incessantly ***** about.

This should be an exciting, fresh topic week in and week out.

Coincidental that he shares his name with a previously crucified player?

I think not!

Yah, anybody who actually played the game and points out the obvious comes under instant credibility attack by the pom pom squad.

Can I have a show of hands of how many here have played in the NFL? ;)

If you are running lazy, sloppy routes, how are you playing hard?

Just because Merril Hodge says he is doesn't make it true.

The drops are unacceptable though. He should donate 10K for every drop.

Three weeks ago several posters on here said Miles Austin was a JAG. Now BOOM BANG POW! Austin is all that. Let's just wait and see. You should at least be rooting for Roy because if he succeeds, the Cowboys are that much better.

I want RW to make it just like any other true Cowboy fan. Just frusterated with what appears to be a chronic under achiever who seems to lack the desire to play up to his abilities. Is that too much to ask?

Not Merril Hodge.. He alway knew Miles Austin was the bomb...

oh wait, nevermind, that was a restaurant in Austin he was talking about..

carry on..

I don't know if brain and Merril Hodge should go in the same sentence unless the word mushed is in it.

talk about space cadets... whew..!

I can disagree with folks about many things but anyone who claims Merrill Hodge is some sort of fountain of knowledge gets immediately added to the ignore list. That's like my new first test of forum intelligence.

Lots of people can annoy me with their Cowboy takes but if you prove completely nonsensical talking about teams I could care less about it is time to go. Hodge can barely form sentences. If he remembered any of his NFL days he might be able to provide some input.

You keep talking about experience but have you ever tried to run with bruised ribs or broken ribs?

Did you not hear Wade saying all week he didn't feel good about RW11 even playing?

It feels like you are literally having a heart attack because it hurts to breathe and the harder you breathe the more it hurts. And you know what make sit worse? Stretching your arms away from your body!!!!

RW11 should sat while Ogletree played in all likelihood but he hears the complaints and tried to play.

No excuses. If he couldn't perform he shouldn't have went out there.

Hodge retired because of too many concussions. I guess that last one is still bothering him.

I am sure Jerry pays some doctor handsomely to make those determinations for the coaching staff. Apparently said doctor signed off on RW playing yesterday.

Yep, Merrill Hodge makes Joe Theisman seem like Norman Einstein in comparison.

sure they did... signed off on him not hurting it any more. that's the way it works. no one on the medical staff said he'd light up the scoreboard.

i played a high school football game the same day i got my jaw wired shut. my mom called and told the coach not to let me play... he did anyway. teams often play guys who are injured.

wr is one of the hardest positions to play with injured ribs. i saw the night game where boldin was running a 4.8 at best. he was injured but playing anyway.... all arizona did was beat the giants.

guess what? even that sucky route-running rw11 drew coverage yesterday.
he helped us even if he played poorly.

So much football 101 in this post that after reading it you should be promoted to football 102.

Oh yeah, Boldin looked terrible in that game last night, just couldn't run. Fitzgerald dropped as many passes as Roy and he was healthy.
