Look at the stats.

If I looked at stats it would tell me that Miles Austin is better than Lee Evans. I choose not to believe that and I'm sure any GM in the NFL would be on my side. Thanks anyway though

sure they did... signed off on him not hurting it any more. that's the way it works. no one on the medical staff said he'd light up the scoreboard.

i played a high school football game the same day i got my jaw wired shut. my mom called and told the coach not to let me play... he did anyway. teams often play guys who are injured.

wr is one of the hardest positions to play with injured ribs. i saw the night game where boldin was running a 4.8 at best. he was injured but playing anyway.... all arizona did was beat the giants.

guess what? even that sucky route-running rw11 drew coverage yesterday.
he helped us even if he played poorly.
I honestly don't even get why he was in the game if his ribs were bothering him that much. He had more drops than catches.

I give him credit for playing with the injury, because I would be scared ****less if I was running across the middle with separated ribs, but he was ineffective. They should have just started Crayton over him.

I tend to agree with you that they should have simply sat him.
BUT... RW11 did get open in order to have those drops. He did get the one nice slant where only a shoestring tackle saved a big day.

My guess is as the pain killer wore off(yes, I am assuming he took a shot right before the game) and he started breathing heavily things got worse. He did take a lot less snaps in the second half it seemed. Crayton was in the game a lot. It probably would have been Hurd in for RW11.

No I have been pointing this out for weeks, read some of my prior post on this subject. By the way, where did you play or coach? Yah, thats what I thought.

what does one have to do with the other? you assume cause i'm saying STOP WHINING i disagree with you. i don't. roy hasn't done much to warrant what we gave.

the difference here is i moved on and i don't carry it around like some forced albatross around my neck so regardless of how the team performs, i have a built in whine doll i can yell at.

weeks huh? they've been saying this about roy his entire career.

like i said, ESPN talking points.

Yah, anybody who actually played the game and points out the obvious comes under instant credibility attack by the pom pom squad.

when you get enough sense into your head to understand what i'm saying, let me know. till then you can play solitaire with the victim cards. you're the one who started a stupid, overhammered argument, don't blame others for saying STOP WHINING.

I want RW to make it just like any other true Cowboy fan. Just frusterated with what appears to be a chronic under achiever who seems to lack the desire to play up to his abilities. Is that too much to ask?

apparantely it's just as impossible as asking people to stop flogging this dead horse with 5 threads on the main page day in and day out.

keep it to one thread or stop whining - is that soo much to ask?

Pointing out the fact that the guy is never where he is supposed to be, when he is supposed to be.

how do you know this? are you Roy Williams, Ray Sherman, or Tony Romo?

we won. we're 4-2 and tied for 1st again thanks to the giants loss. can we be happy about that?

we've spent 5-6 years saying this or that WR will break out soon and our young guys will finally start stepping up. now that one has, can we be happy about that?

romo and austin are setting records all over the place - can we be happy about that?

NO. we gotta sift through a bunch of prima-donna whiners who have to find any negative they can so they can stay pissed off and angry about something or other.

please - for the love of god and my own posting sanity, offer up a "Whine Zone" where the whiners can do all they want of that and leave out those who wanna just talk football.

and dare to be happy.
I, too, am guilty of responding to the whiners, moaners, and groaners on occassion, but if we would quit responding, they'd quit posting that crap. They're looking to piss in people's wheaties, and we fall for it.

an underachiever wouldn't put his health on the line to make a catch. an underachiever wouldn't play injured.

sure, you played football, but did you ever play in the NFL? how can you even call Roy Williams an underachiever when you didn't even make it to the NFL?

If all Roy does this year is play decoy to allow Austin to have huge games then fine. For some reason teams seem to respect Roy allowing Austin to get single coverage. That's something that wouldn't happen with crayton.

You keep talking about experience but have you ever tried to run with bruised ribs or broken ribs?

Did you not hear Wade saying all week he didn't feel good about RW11 even playing?

It feels like you are literally having a heart attack because it hurts to breathe and the harder you breathe the more it hurts. And you know what make sit worse? Stretching your arms away from your body!!!!

RW11 should sat while Ogletree played
in all likelihood but he hears the complaints and tried to play.

And if that happened, people would complain how RW can't perform with a "minor" injury.

There are just people here who insist on being miserable about something. And before anyone throws out the "have you ever played the game" card, kindly link the NFL resume of your old playing days . . .

No?????

Didn't think so.

but but but - i'm not a football player or ever coached, so i have ZERO credibility here. now if i use that logic YOU CAME UP WITH HERE - you can't say crap about what a doctor would do.

unless you're a doctor now, but you said you're not.

just because we're tired of the whine-patrol doesn't mean we disagree with you.

Said he is supposed to be number one reciever, but runs "lazy", "sloppy" routes and Romo stopped looking his way. If you notice the offense started clicking after Romo stopped trying to go to RW. So I ask the apologists what will it be next, his ribs, his foot, or asthma next? How bout he is a an average talent masquerading and getting paid like a go to receiver?

That's a ridiculous statement. Romo is still looking his way, just not as much because another option has developed. Duhhhh...

Exaggerations such as this usually reveal agendas. Hoge/ESPN are clearly just trying to create a rift between Tony and Roy. It's obvious. Would any other team get receive such a story after a W??? They figure that if they take enough shots they can cause Roy to blow up against Tony and then they'll have their big story.

Those astronomically high malpractice insurance premiums finally bankrupted you, didn't they? :(
