I am not a doctor either but I know an open sore when I see one. Step away from the pom poms and take off the rose colored glasses.

just saying you must know a lot about underachieving...

Said he is supposed to be number one reciever, but runs "lazy", "sloppy" routes and Romo stopped looking his way. If you notice the offense started clicking after Romo stopped trying to go to RW. So I ask the apologists what will it be next, his ribs, his foot, or asthma next? How bout he is a an average talent masquerading and getting paid like a go to receiver?

Uh Oh! what does Hostile say to that?

Lets see  We win a big game and there's complaining about a player who really didn't do anything that wrong. Just didn't play up to some here's expectations.

We Lose a game and there's complaining about a player, or two.
Can These guys do anything to satisfy some of you.:insane:

That was a good win yesterday. I wasn't there,(my daughter and son in law were and I intend to get some stories from them,) but maybe they rolled coverage to RW's side, which put Austin one on one.

I don't know, but man, can't we just enjoy the win for at least a day.:(.

The reason Williams is frustrating because he IS talented and CAN play like a top flight receiver but seldom has in a Cowboy uniform.

The good will to his potential is being tested.
But also remember Miles Austin was on the roster for three years on account of potential and not production, finally that patience returned dividends.

Yay for the fans finding a new player to incessantly ***** about.

This should be an exciting, fresh topic week in and week out.

Over the many years we have all been posting together we should come to expect this by now. Someone is always going to ***** and complain. I actually got into a discussion in another thread about booing players and how some think that will help them be better players.

Oh well. Fortunately there are enough execlent posters here to keep me coming back.

I, too, am guilty of responding to the whiners, moaners, and groaners on occassion, but if we would quit responding, they'd quit posting that crap. They're looking to piss in people's wheaties, and we fall for it.

We have been down that road. They just keep creating threads full of nonsense. They are relentless. It makes finding the quality posts a real chore. I hate reading through 3 pages of garbage to find the few excellent posts.

Some peeps thought it was a bad trade. So far they are right. Might not stay right, but it's tough to argue at this point. So they are speaking their mind, what's the big deal?

It not that I disagree at this point. It the incessant crying that bugs me after a while. Like ICE said, keep it in one thread. The obsession over who is right or wrong about Roy is a worn out topic. Anyone with half a brain understands he is playing hurt (again) and has not lived up to expectations at this point. To have 5 threads about it on one page is bordering on obsessive compulsive behavior.

That's all.

I get it. I think the people who constantly say he's going to be great once he heals are just as bad and are part of the problem. Let's face it, he's never been great. He is what he is, average. He doesn't totally suck but he's no Irvin either. So far he isn't even an Austin.;)

Three weeks ago several posters on here said Miles Austin was a JAG. Now BOOM BANG POW! Austin is all that. Let's just wait and see. You should at least be rooting for Roy because if he succeeds, the Cowboys are that much better.

:laugh2:

Yep.

]How about you tell me why you care about how much Roy is getting paid? that's the dumbest argument you Roy haters use.[/B] Who cares how much he gets paid? Are you paying him 45 million? Who cares.

And btw, Merrill Hodge is the guy we look to for credibility? I mean he's not bad but seriously? Is his word the bible now or something? Goodness.

Thank God someone else thinks that too and Merrill is crap!

IMO, with Austin becoming a true threat (hope it continues) and Crayton being Crayton. I believe it will only help Roy.

DAVE! when you coming back to texas man? hooters and other places are calling!

as for those saying roy will be fine - can you show me some threads where after a game they come in here making excuses, or does the HE SUCKS patrol get the 1st shots in?

so far i'll agree. it's a bad trade.

however, many of us while agreeing it was a bad trade, simply get sick and tired of the WAH patrol having to ball-peen hammer it into us week in and week out, 4-6 threads a day.

how about the mods...just merge 1 huge thread for Roy sucks?

it will calm everyone down that just wants attention....

no, they'll get mad they can't post an anti-roy thread as if it's a new thought.

lol

Mike Rhyner on the ticket just said he flat out sucks.

pretty funny when he said that. They just interviewed him last week and you could tell Mike, Danny and Corby had no interest in talking to him

It's going to be a rough week for Roy.
