The way our defense has looked the past two games you would think Mike Nolan has taken over again. Lol

Parsons didn’t have a single pressure yesterday, which is the first time that’s happened since he’s been here. The first three or four games he was playing lights out and now he looks like he’s almost out of gas. His decline has played a big part in our defenses decline. The Cowboys defense might not even be a top 15 defense by the end of the season the way it’s currently going. We’re sitting at number 11 right now in total defense with the run defense ranking 28th. Everyone is talking about how bad our run defense is. It’s become embarrassing!

There's no quick fix. The team had the entire offseason to address the glaring weakness after all the talk post playoff loss to San Fran. Here we are a season later and things are looking worse than before.

A lot folks just mindlessly think it due to the fat guys in the middle.

Im one of those people who believe in "fat guys" in the middle. When you have strong DTs you just need average players at LBer. Stud LBers always have DTs that can control the LOS and keep the LBers clean to pursue plays.

We have neither…Parsons is the only good player we have in the middle and he’s going to be rushing the passer 50%+ so we have a giant void.

When I said he needed to show at linebacker that he can create turnovers I got attacked.

I think I have been blinded by the generation pass rushing talent Parsons has and overlooked some flaws in his game.

The more I watch him when he's not rushing the QB the more completely average he looks.

If we had quality DTs our LBers would be fine. I just don't believe in investing in LBers. Drop a 100 mill on a DT in FA and draft another one. You can typically draft top rated DTs in the teens. Then watch what this D can become and the see LVE play much better!

Stopping the run isn’t gonna happen for this team this season. It’s impossible to fix that issue with the current personnel on the field. Maybe next year……..maybe

I said what I said and it's not the first time I said it.

I'm completely, utterly, and shockingly unimpressed about anything Parsons does that isn't pass rushing.

I expected much better as an overall LB from him than what we are seeing right now.

I rarely agree with you but here perhaps i do. Hes better than LVE but that isnt saying much.

honsetly while DT plays a role i think its more on the outside where we are getting killed. The DE are not keeping contain and when they do the Lbs are nowhere to be found until 6 yard down the field

Yep DEs are losing contain, maybe because we are running stunts? Plus the Wolf Hunter sucks.
