You suck at this. Beatles albums are a thing of the past. We have the advantage of talking about them in the past tense. A "good" song is a matter of opinion, it's subjective, while a top album is based on sales and is more factual. McCartney telling Lennon he was surprised their Sgt. Pepper album was so successful is neither right nor wrong. It too is a subjective statement. Critics give their opinion which is neither right nor wrong.
On the other hand, talking about Parsons's future in the NFL is from a totally different perspective. We have no such advantage of talking in the past tense. It's pure speculation so there is no wrong or right predictions about him, only opinion. He is being hyped way too much, IMO. AN OPINION. Don't police my opinion.
You are nothing but one of many critics, just like all of us. You gave your opinion. You called Parsons 'nothing but snake oil.' You own it. The Sgt Pepper critic gave his opinion immediately after it debuted. History proved him to be an absolute moron. History may prove you right. History may prove you to be wrong.
You suck at being a critic. Just honest, constructive criticism. You act like Mr. Big Chest and go bold with an opinion (cool, I like that) and then slither away and backtrack, and caveat, and pretend you said something else. Not cool. You call a player 'snake oil' and then when confronted and made to look like an idiot, you backtrack and say the player might be a solid player but nowhere near that one-game highlight. Not cool.
You called the Parsons snake oil and now are upset people may hold you accountable to your potentially ridiculous opinion.
Perhaps you don't know the meaning of snake oil.
