Don't you know Jerry Jones likes having media attention? I can see Jerry actually making a push to draft this kid now strictly from a PR standpoint, always got to have the limelight.

This team won't sell tickets on talent that's for sure.

Sam will be a 7th round pick. or not drafted.

If that's the case, then I hope Dallas scoops him up with one of the bajillion seventh rounders they're projected to have. Ealy has the measurables and the sexuality, but Sam outplays him at every stop.

I sincerely doubt this affects his draft status at all.

Dallas has 3 7th for sure. the chicago 7th for the Rosario trade. and the KC 7th for the Edgar Jones trade, and their own 7th. Could have 7 more 7th round comp picks. If they get those 4 comp picks i see Dallas trading back into the 6th.

Cowboys DON'T need this. Garretts trying to figure out how to coach with a normal 53 man roster. Doesn't need to be the 1st coach in the NFL to learn how to deal with this as well. Belicheck, John Harbaugh or Carroll are the only 3 I could see dealing with this properly. Jim Harbaugh would have a double disaster with dealing with Aldon Smith plus having to deal with stereotypes of gays in SF.

Assuming he doesn't already coach a gay player(s)! There are gays in the NFL, who is to say that one doesn't have a star on their helmet?

0% chance he makes it out if the 5th. Some team will take a talented football player. Sadly, maybe not every locker room would accept him, but I think most would

Plus you have to look it from another angle....could you imagine the negative publicity the nfl would receive if a 3rd rounder went undrafted because he came out? It simply wouldn't be allowed because it's a horrible business decision. Maybe a few teams pass, but he won't drop much more than he was previously slotted anywhere from mid 3rd to mid 4th.

There's no way Seattle would pass on him in the fifth. He fits their Leo position too well as a rotational player.

Good for the young man since this is what he wanted.

Hope it does not cost him any money.

There's none that have publicly come out and been a media circus to deal with.

Twenty or so years ago, he would probably not get drafted and no team would take a risk on him after the draft. Today, society has lessened a lot on this topic and it isn't a big deal anymore really. I bet there are a few playing now and a number of the players today are probably friends with someone who is gay, if not a family matter. The people most likely to have a problem with this is the older guys, scouts, executives, etc. The players are from a different generation and should not be shocked by this.

All it would take is for a player show up to camp, listen to the media for a couple of weeks and get to know his fellow players and it will all blow over. It will probably be tense at first, but guys don't hold grudges, we get over things easily. If he shows up, practices and plays hard, he will be accepted in the locker room eventually.

Dallas should take a chance on him late in the draft if available and we might as well go get Incognito to shoulder some of the media scrutiny :)

Man i wish i can express myself properly in english... some day, human beings will not be forced to discuss their sexuality with the world, honestly that issue shouldn't be over discussion at all, we as individuals have more important things that can define us as people. I really wish him the best, and i hope the NFL treats him with respect and dignity.
