Thanks for the link, IR. I've seen Lombardi on NFLN but didn't know he had a blog.
The "Hollywood" comment I'm sure comes from that recent Galloway column. Galloway has actually mentioned this several times on his radio show, but I guess that column is the first time it's been in print. He says a former coach of Roy's here told him that he thinks Roy got too focused on the big hit and it hurt his fundamentals. He doesn't mean Matt Leinart-Hollywood in that Roy wants to be a celebrity, but that he wanted to make the highlight reels.
Galloway says the coach doesn't think Roy was a terrible player, just that he got sidetracked trying to make the Jacked Up shows.
BTW, the former coach could be Bowles or even Campo, but I can almost guarantee that it's Mike Zimmer. I know Galloway used to talk to him pretty often.
I thought it was pretty interesting that an agent would call Lombardi or someone like him to get an opinion on a contract.
